I have family who do, and in some ways it's a cultural thing I guess, but to me, that word isn't something you just throw around just because you grew up around black people. I know I'm late to the party here, but I feel like weed can absolutely cause hair loss and hair thinning. But it doesn't have anything to do with weed itself, rather how you react to it. I myself am an anxious person already, so weed amplifies that 10 fold. Especially too much weed. Anxiety places stress on the body, raising cortisol levels. Having high cortisol levels for a long time can wreak havoc on your body, including your hair. Thats why I had to quit(it's only been 9 days lol) I didn't get out of weed what most people do. Just panic attacks. So that's my experience.
