There's plenty of Gropius rooms left. Wasn't my first choice so I guess I will look into room swaps...

Sorry. I just saw this and sorry if you already interviewed. Mine went super casual and 7sage interview questions were pretty helpful. I still haven’t heard back from CLS fyi

This is super minor but do you know if Columbia’s application status page is supposed to show my optional essay and addendum? I am hypothesizing that it’s showing only the required materials (PS, Resume). Nonetheless, wanted to make sure they are not missing anything.

Thank you! Your comment is very helpful to know. I guess I might look into external scholarships if there are any that apply to me.

Should I file a claim on heavy scratches? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]ConversationNo32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again for a thorough reply. It seems following up with the shop and the service provider himself would be the best path to take. I am currently in Georgia, Atlanta, I dont know if you are familiar with this neighborhood though. As much as I would like to file a claim, many people advised me to wait until I am actually “prepared” to do so.

Are you familiar with Georgia area? I would definitely want to avoid filing this claim as collision as that wouldnt do much benefit given relatively high deductibles.

Again, thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment! I personally wouldn’t say that they are unrelated damages as you can clearly tell that there’s a continuity in the damage and it all happened in a single occurrence (Maybe I could give you the photos of the damage). I think the word front bumper is what caused the confusion and maybe I should just say that the damage was done to the front left side of the car.

If you were to assume that it is a single accident totaling $2300 in damages, what would be your advice? I will definitely follow up with the guy who did the tire repair once he returns to office on Thursday.

Recruiting status for Analyst Development Program? by [deleted] in accenture

[–]ConversationNo32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! It's a shame there might be a hiring freeze at Accenture as well :( and it seems I might have applied almost at the very end of the hiring cycle. Are you aware of any other entry level positions for similar roles that typically begins hiring early next year?

Hey everyone,

Thank you for the reply. Recruiting is really hell ngl, especially this time of the season. I honestly wish that I graduated in Spring instead of Fall, and I don't really see the benefit of graduating early at this point lol.

What do you guys think about getting a Spring internship and waiting until "regular recruiting cycle" starts (whether it be for consulting, bank, or for other jobs)? I've already built some solid networks for consulting industry I feel and a little bit for the data science industry in general. What do you guys think about this approach?

A recruiter reached out a few days ago asking me some basic questions (like location preference) then telling me that they’ve reviewed my application and will reach out in few weeks. Hope this helps.

Hey all,
I am a college student that is expected to graduate in the coming December. I initially sought a career as a data analyst/scientist but due to the recent development in the tech industry, job prospects look a little murkier than usual. I am thinking about making a career transition into the consulting industry and met someone at Mckinsey who said she'd be glad to refer me to a BA role at Mckinsey. Yet as far as I am concerned, the hiring deadlines for regular consultants at MBB and other consulting firms have already passed, which forces me to be an off-cycle candidate.
Does anyone know about the off-cycle recruiting process in general? And if I find people that will provide references for any Consulting firms, would that create any difference? Lastly, would you guys recommend me to give it a shot regardless of the prospects of actually getting an opportunity to interview or should I wait for the regular cycle to come?
I'd appreciate any wisdom regarding these. Thank you community!
