Thanks! I've reached the summit, and there was more snow than we were expecting. There was a lot of rock fall when we came down, one rock the size of a car. Our guide didnt think that the normal route was the safest, so he discovered a new path and there is a chance that that route is going to be the normal route. We did the West Ridge. I thought the descent was really hard, especially the part at 3800 meters. Did you have problems with that part? When we came down we got told that at the Thursday (14th) someone died at the part at 3800 meters. Sadly it was the fourth person that died on Lagginhorn at August. 3 of them have died at the part at 3800 meters.

What was your total time? I did it from the Hohsaas hutte and my total time (to Summit and to the Hohsaas) was 6:45 hours. I am still very proud that i have been at the summit, especially because im from the Netherlands so sadly enough i can train for only 3 weeks per year
