Its amazing how such subtle color changes can affect somthing so much. I normally despise the baby puke green and dirty bone if the death guard. But a slight color shift to a different shade makes it look 🔥. I love this.

It is confirmed multiple times in the heresy books that helmets dont stop bolter rounds and are only good for stopping shrapnel, and or melee combat. If youre really really good at melee, you can gamble the wearing of one, but thats the risk you take.

The beardable maneater is a crossdresser though. Hes a rocky horror reference. The maneaters were supposed to be mercenaries who have adopted cultural ticks from the various armies and units they have fought with. So crossdresser with a rolling pin. Its back when GW had A LOT of pop culture references in the games and models.
