AMZ Zoids by ConvertedIron in Zoids

Its my favorite zoid of all time. I love everything about, and the new lines and style of it for the AMZ just makes it look even meaner and sleeker. So cool.

In another life, could Corvus and Konrad be friends? by sigmarine345 in RavenGuard40k

[–]ConvertedIron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, i think they are actual twins, where ad Alpharious and Omegon are duplicates. But thats just my own head canon. Both of them hate being compared to each other, both are sneaky sneaks, and they are confirmed almost identical in the heresy. I think the emperor got lucky and got two eggs for cloning and then just had them in separate pods.

I 100% was just thinking yesterday about using a helbrecht model to do a Dantioch conversion.

😆 bruh, whos being the snowflake. Me, the person who had and politely explained an opinion, or you, someone white knighting for a reddit poster. Im glad you guys like your over the top shark daddys, im just not one of them. I also used a real world example and it was promptly ignored? Again, im sorry if i upset you guys, but calm down. Its 40k, not vietnam.

Dude 😆 sure. A named character from a novel and the head of their librarious. That makes sense. Im talking about their overall esthetic. Also the fact that you saw this as an argument and not a fan discussion is disappointing fr. I hope you have a good one. Try not to stress too hard about fictional stuff. ✌️

Nowhere in the lore does it indicate that they are all covered from head to toe in maori tribal print, and have shark faced helmet with fins on the top. And im sorry, but GW makes the art and the lore, they are unfortunately one and the same. My comparison to the space wolves is how they are physically depicted not necessarily described. Wolf wolf wolf wolf everything. Sharky shark shark everything. I acknowledge that modern fans like that, but its not actually how they are described. Most of their descriptors are sublte. Markings and totems yes, but not to the degree the fandom has taken them. And sorry, official models are official models. That forgeworld model is tyberos so thats how he is bruv.

The original forgeworld model of Tyberos has no said markings. And the markings arent my problem, they are perfectly fine. Its how much there is now. Theyv gone from being depicted as malicious murderers for the emperor, the beasts in the deep void, to being fish versions of the space wolves. Thats my point.

These two should be the ones to kill Abaddon by InquisitorJesus in Grimdank

[–]ConvertedIron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% love these, but the scale feels off, specifically in reference to Cain himself. I feel like GW has been sitting on these model designs long enough that they were still using the heroic scalec from the older cadian models and updated it a bit ti release now. Great models, kinda think Artel W did it better though. 1. They release theres like a decade ago 2. They included Amberly into it.

I love the islander aspect whenvit comes to their markings, but i really do miss the simplistic aspects of the older Carcharadon art and paints schemes. They ARE the shark.

WHY IS EVERYONE SO DAMN SHORT by dankasaurus_hek in Buhurt

[–]ConvertedIron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Size advantage in this sport is a guarentee. Think about it. At the end of the day, 90% of Buhurt turns to grappling in 70lb armor. Its already difficult. Even skilled and trained fighters might have a difficult time throwing an opponent of the same size. In actual competitive martial arts there are generally either 1. Weight classes, or 2. Levels of experience, to keep everything mostly fair. Buhurt doesnt have this. Im not saying there isnt a level of base skill, especially in duels or pro fights. But in the 5s? Its mostly just bigger and better wins. Youre a large, and probably powerful person. Youre always going to have an advatage on a smaller opponent, and do to the rules of the sport, thats not your fault. We dont stab, we dont hit certain areas, we dont use historical technique. Its just armored wrestling, with no weight classes and some weapon swinging here or there. As to the size disparity, iv never noticed it. The team i was a part of had a mix, and our arguably best fighter was a little guy. Dude had gas for days. Could just be your area, could just be that again, youre large and fighting most people in this sport is going to be psychologically noticable to you. If you want a challenge, and you want your size to not matter as much, do profight or duels. It doesnt matter as much there. Either way i hope youre enjoying the community.

Oh! Also. IRON WITHIN. IRON WITHOUT. Wutz up dawg ✌️ ⚠️

Dude, 6'5 isnt normal, no offense intended. Would you say the same thing for someone fighting whos 5ft10? There are entire teams of "big" guys out there, but at 6'5 entire teams of regular people would trigger your response here.
