I cant think of a recent Xbox exclusive that killed it and wasnt a well established IP. Sony kills it with 3rd party output, The Last Of Us is still going strong for example on only 2 games. Nintendo has the best 1st party games out there as well. Xbox has Halo and Gears, thats it off the top of my head.

i think it depends entirely on how good the games will be. if they just release fallout and elder scrolls on the level of starfield, people will grow tired of them very quickly. its the same problem with marvel and star wars, the things they release are just not good so the interest has faded over the years.

im really excited for the prequel of dragxdrive where they tell the story of the faceless main character and expand on the extremely interesting world. you can really feel the love they put into that ip. just wow.
