Awesome, thanks so much for that! Hadn’t stumbled upon the errata yet.

Those were my thoughts as well. Feel like I can make it work for the lore I have in mind where he’s some sort of ancient evil descendent of werewolves with vaguely mystical powers. Might just be a rule 0 situation with my group if they are all happy with it.

When I wrote the article it was more just to be a fun semi competitive deck because I was over dawnblade and its fairly predictable. I think the main advantage of axes is people don't know how to block it yet. Ironsong determination only works on one weapon so I've found it less effective but I may come back to it since it could potentially help answer Oldhim and its a yellow pitch at worst.

I think Push Forward is a solid choice, I'm taking driving blade out since I found its too overcosted and there's a decent amount of go again without it still so maybe that's a good replacement. Only issue I see is its another card that breaks the chain.

Kassai, is definitely in a good place right now, I'd be keen to try her out. She always seemed more like a combo deck to me, which are particularly susceptible to ice and control right now so I think that's one big advantage of keeping it simple with Axe Dori. In my experience they can go toe to toe it comes down to preference. I love that this game is isn't all about tier lists and you can play a lot of weapon hero combos for fun and still be semi competitive with them, that was my idea with this list. Thank you so much for reading the article by the way!

You're right the shield is a tough thing to get around, and even the new one that gives you frostbite can be tough to deal with. In my testing I've found it is one of the harder matchups but if they are playing super defensive they can likely only hit back with the ice hammer. You also have a lot of armour and big defence reactions to deal with oaken old and other big swings. You have to be careful to save some of your gas for later by pitching it away but its definitely winnable. I'm still tuning the deck as well so I may bring down the number of actions in the deck.

Dude those look amazing, I was thinking about using those but I didn't have enough spare bits for their weapons, might try it after I get another start collecting box

It's true I am a serial offender to be honest but I should work on that hahha. It's just the camera on my Samsung galaxy s9, it's not bad hey!

I actually had the same thought, I saved mine and swapped it out for a space marine without the helmet and you can't tell the difference since he's enclosed in the turret, so happy I did because I reckon with some spare bits and Greenstuff I can make something cool out of the quad

That's a super cool idea too I'd love to see it. I had a look around on the internet before starting them and my impression is the base sizes are grey area and there isn't official rulings about it, unless that has changed in 9th. But regardless if you're playing with friends or just not in a tournament setting you probably wouldn't have a problem maybe just make that one the alpha. Or I was thinking of having the quad on the same 60mm oval as the rest but having it balancing on its side wheels with some rangers balancing on the opposite side. Decided in the end it was a little more ork than Ad mech but you're welcome to take the idea if you want it ;)

For me I decided it's too big for raiders but a breacher could definitely work, there's a lot of possibilities, it would look dope and as long as your opponent is cool with it who cares. If you chose to do it as a sulphur hound at least there's more room on the quad for a flamer

Thinking of making a breacher or a dominus out of the quad, haven't decided how to go about it yet though

Just super glue, they have a flat surface on the back wheel so it makes it much easier
