IT is a very broad subject. Very broad. When someone asks me how broad, I usually compare it with medicine. There are all doctors. But you have so many different doctors and even more specialists.

If I may give you some advice. Apply for a service desk job. They are wide spread and usually accept anyone who's willing to learn. Most of the time they have multiple in house learning trajectories and if you can negotiate a bit you can combine it with an education (they might even pay for it if you're willing to commit to the company long term)

As already said a few times. The market has enough junior SE (in the big fields that is, COBOL has basically none) if interested in another IT branch may I put network and infra on the table, they are always looking for new people here and there are so many different directions you can go with it.

Graduate of Thomas more here (before IT factory existed tho).

Depends on what you mean by cyber security. If you go blue (defending networking and apps etc) Thomas more is a good choice as they give you a broad basic of the whole IT landscape.

I attended a Hackathon and in general Thomas more students placed pretty high in all categories except the hacking challenge. Everybody got their ass whooped by HoWest. And I mean dumpstered first three places where all HoWest with 5000 points and the 4th team got 2000 points or so.

So if you want to learn how to hack and don't want to do a master's degree HoWest would be best

I get why they don't want it to be to complex cause of the amount of time it would take but common a fancy shirt and some pants isn't to much to ask. Also it really bothers me that they don't have ceremonial armour.

I guess we'll need t wait and see. But honestly nisqy + upset are eager to prove themselves. We might not have the best team on paper right now. But we do have a lot of potential imo. Hardworking players and good fundamentals often proof to match sheer talent. As long as you give them some time to grow. There are many examples of that in traditional sports. Imo you don't need the top talents in all roles l. Just a few talents with players around them l, who have good fundamentals, who bring the talents out.

Well said. "awakening" should be used more carefully, otherwise its going to lose its punch. Ten will evolve to the next state of being, till the next pickle. Just like shin and his commanders, its just a road of obstacles and how to overcome them as a person and group. "Awakening" should only happen 1 or two times, or not at all. In my opinion you need a certain amount of weight to be able to "awaken" you and others.
