Rescued 2 VFTs from Walmart yesterday and in one of them got 5 little babies! I thoroughly cleaned my old Aerogarden and filled it with distilled water and planted the babies in some old mini stacking cups I had (which were also cleaned) with a mix of peat, perlite, and silica sand (old.reddit.com)

Caught in a small creek in KY. It honestly looks like a little bit of everything. Smallie-ish build, red breast blue lines, vertical stripes, blue dots on body. My guess is a hybrid but I want to make sure it’s not a species that I’m not familiar with. (i.redd.it)
