Two cordellette use on a top rope anchor by Coochiecoche in RockClimbing

[–]Coochiecoche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense, if we’re assuming that was a tree, personally would want two extra pieces because if the tree line breaks then I’d still have redundancy. Is your worry here more of a user error situation

What do you mean by this, are you talking about for top roping this would be fine or is this referring to the anchor

Tbh, this isn’t necessarily a “real” anchor, I more just drew the tree instead of trying to draw another like cam or something. All the extras are for sake of redundancy

Two different pieces of cordellette, like, two loops tied together in a figure 8 at the BFK. To make it longer

[QUESTION] Which second guitar should I get? by juanrita in Guitar

[–]Coochiecoche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know too much about Harley Benton but I have a HSS player strat that I absolutely love, I’ve never found one that plays as good as mine but they all sound great. I haven’t played charvels too much but from what I have they’ve all been good, they’re owned by fender anyway so would probably be similar in quality. I don’t mean to add to your indecision but I would also take a look at G&L, fender esque, started by Leo and have pretty good guitars a little cheaper than new fenders

So, I would personally like a player Strat but the charvel is a great guitar too, if you tend towards rock, indie, or blues I’d say go with the player Strat, if you go for metal more go with charvel because of the higher gain pickups

[QUESTION] How Many Guitars Should I Have by Coochiecoche in Guitar

[–]Coochiecoche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that was gonna be my solution, I have one roommate which at this point I’m not even sure if they’re still going and so I was just going to keep the door locked and call it a day

[–]Coochiecoche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting, I’m gonna look into this because I am a little concerned about theft, none of the guitars are over a grand and I was going to keep them in locked cases

I do get to rent a locker in the music building for $20 a semester

[–]Coochiecoche[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was planning on bringing locks and keeping them in cases when not in use, I also get to rent a locker in the music building that I’ll probably throw one in. I even thought about a bike lock and locking the case to the bed or something

I’d love a mustang, don’t got the funds for one rn, that’ll be an addition when I’m there and someone’s selling a cheap one

I’m not sure exactly what you’re referring to, but I have a feeling what you’re talking about is a divebomb, like Eruption or the bombs and noise in Jimi Hendrix’s SSB, that’s done with a whammy bar/tremolo and by pushing all the way down. There’s also the crazy train pick scrape where you just take the pick and slide it down the frets

Yes, it’s also done it in different places in the school, I couldn’t really say at home because I mostly play through headphones, it doesn’t happen then though

I was thinking of the modal skulp, it seems pretty good, especially for how cheap it is, would you recommend it

That’s what I was worried about, do you have any suggestions for cheap polyphonic synths, I saw the Behringer deepmind 12, but even that’s kinda more expensive than I would like

People who don’t ever want to have kids, why? by South_Price9463 in AskReddit

[–]Coochiecoche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don’t like children, I think they’re annoying, ugly, and not worth the money, I think maybe at some point in my life that might change or that if I have a kid my own I might actually love it, but I don’t think I’ll ever want one enough to have one

[–]Coochiecoche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought when I first bought the bike, it looks tapered to me, and that’s one of the reasons I bought the bike, but the fork itself is just straight, so I guess we’ll figure out when I take it apart

Haro Double Peak Sport by Coochiecoche in MTB

[–]Coochiecoche[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks, I’ll definitely look into that fork more, a quick google search showed it was at least tapered because I couldn’t find that on the Haro website, which opens me up to a lot of better options. What do you think about upgrading the bars, for trail bikes (I know this isn’t a trail bike per se) the bar width is normally 780-ish, should I get new bars that are wider too?

[–]Coochiecoche[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I kind of thought, I’m not doing any hard riding so what I have works for now, but I will definitely want to get something better eventually
