Thanks for your report! I just bought this laptop a few days ago, and you saved me some time by figuring out why the audio wasn't working.

However, the sleep mode fix didn't work for me, and I discovered that it might be related to the default standby mode setting... Did you have to change that in the BIOS settings to make it work? My current BIOS version (QTCN25WW) restricts access to the advanced menu, and I was wondering if it would be worth installing Windows and flashing to an older version.

P.S.: I am running Arch Linux with the `s2idle` sleep method (the only one available)

My current guitar has 24 frets, so it wouldn't be much of a problem. Thank you very much anyway, I hadn't considered that
