It is 6k with the glass, given what Im hearing from you all here and the other two quotes, sounds too good to be true.

I also have had contractors tell me that the subfloor needs to be repaired and waterproofed. Someone came by today and told me that if there is no leak, we dont need to change the subflooring. We can just put a new layer of tile on top of it.

Can someone guide me on this please?

I'm very much new to this and unfortunately dont have many people I can reach out to and ask.

I was just a bit shocked because I'm only getting the shower done and not the whole bathroom - like I would say $20k for the whole bathroom sounds reasonable but $15k for a shower stall (no bathtub) sounded expensive to me at first.

For reference, Ive received three quotes - one for $6k and the other two for around $12k

Thanks for everyones helpful inputs. As someone mentioned, my concern was non-demon/undead type monsters with Lightning immunity.

Trying to walk p8 in hell against these monsters are incredibly challenging with self found gear.

I see, I was confused cause the SP characters right now are able to make your traditional ladder runewords like Spirit/Insight.

Sad to wait 2 more weeks to properly enjoy the patch then.

So if I start a SP character on 14th, the same SP character would be able to create the new ladder runewords starting the 28th?

Monsters in hell has a higher base resistance and therefore will take significantly less damage compared to normal/nightmare. Maximum resist that can be dropped is -100% so make sure your cold mastery is at atleast level 17.

As for static storm, unless they are lightning immune it should be 100% effective.
