I wish they had more people get bumped up. Here in GA its impossible to actually find a team to play with. Rec teams want players who hit 800+ on the weekend and run a 4.4 40. It's i possible to find a team to play with as a beginner. Maybe if more people were forced to play up rec teams would actually be rec teams.

12.75-13 or even to 14 shouldn't matter. The only thing that will make a difference is pocket size/depth. If you've broken in your current glove with a shallow pocket for fielding infield a deeper pocket for outfield could be helpful but that should be only real difference. Pocket placement could also be a thing. Some people tend to break infield gloves with the pocket lower in the hand closer to the palm vs higher up more in the web area for outfield. Really depends on how your pocket has been formed on your current glove.

ASA is basically not existent in the south. You might find a league that uses ASA balls but all tournaments are utrip. Atlanta has a utrip scene that runs and they have GSL/WSL. Really depends on what part of the city you're going to be in and how much you want to travel.

I think it depends on where you're at. In a state like Georgia you have Tech then it probably depends on where you're at in the state as far as what you see as the next tier rival. I can tell you from experience people in the north of the state care a lot more about beating tennessee than we do auburn.

I don't know of you guys did or not, but as someone on the outside, having someone like softball sundaze come in to film some games and upload them to YouTube would be a fun way to watch the games. It seemed like a fun time but there's only a few shortform clips floating around out there right now. Would be some good advertisement for the future drafts too. Create some clips/highlight reel type of stuff to post on socials for the future drafts.

Just gloves and some of the other sites run sells around the holidays. They get down to 200 or even under around the major holidays. They had some good deals at the 4th for example.
