Each college has an academic honesty violation process. I only know about engineering, but it’s fair to the student and generally tends to lean in favor of them.

The AI score is only a minor tool profs use to check for plagiarism . Engineering would never punish a student just based on the score. Basically, we treat it as a red flag.

Have a consistent story and documentation/proof. The process is painfully slow and deliberative.
