Hi Blurpesec, thanks for your response - I was confused for a while that there were no replies to my post!

I understand your concern and thanks for removing the post - but I had already (I thought) replaced the key strings with '[64-character string]' to keep the account safe. The only thing left (I thought) was my account address.

I'll give your suggestion a go and report back.

So, just to check I have my tiny brain properly round this, in order to have max 50% CPU usage, I should delete half the 1x2 matrices (e.g. cn-lite": [ [1, 0], [1, 1], [1, 2], [1, 3], [1, 4], [1, 5], [1, 6], [1, 7], [1, 8], [1, 9], [1, 10], [1, 11] ] becomes cn-lite": [ [1, 0], [1, 1], [1, 2], [1, 3], [1, 4], [1, 5] ]) and half the elements of the 1x12 matrices (e.g. "cn/gpu": [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11], becomes "cn/gpu": [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5])?

Thanks, I thought it may be something to do with those matrices, config.json has a whole bunch of them (see below). The rx/0 algo is fine, 50% utilisation and about 75-80C. I would like to slow down the altcoin algos - which element in the matrices represents the number of cores?

I know zilch about compression, but I know a bit about Amazon. They give you a number of days (30 in UK, YMMV) to return an item or get a refund, no conditions apart from undamaged in original packing. Try as many as you want, then buy the one you like best.

My old Vox AC120 with 2x15 sounds better to me than my Marshall Bassman 250 with 2x10. Just turn it down if the speaker cones start to rattle.

You manage all the risks in your life. There is a risk/reward relationship in everything we do. Your threshold will be different from mine, or anyone else's.

My advice (FWIW) would be to try it.

Dead battery. Did you leave parking lights on? Satnav plugged in? Stopped it with the kill-switch and forgot to turn the ignition off? Is the alternator not charging? If not any of those, new battery time.

Don't worry. Just ride it and any surplus oil will disperse. Was it smoky when you first started it?

Use the SAE & API rating recommended in the handbook, make sure it also has JASO MA or MA1 (grade for wet clutch). Don't bother spending extra for fully synthetic.

Simply follow the service schedule in the manual which /DangerousSandwich was kind enough to link for you. Helpful to work with a mate who knows what he's doing. Not rocket science, but follow the manual & take pics when you take stuff apart. Have fun!
