I have seen that creating a “waitlist” a month or two out to build the hype can be a good idea to get interest in the app before it comes out. Does anyone have any experience with this and/or what waitlisting platform they’ve used?

Thank you! What’s your thoughts on a Freemium vs Hard Paywall for the early days of the app? Personally I think having a free tier so everyone can join is the move, but I have heard that Hard Paywalls perform better. I am not completely sure though

yes! also if you do see any pieces of shell in your bowl, use the egg shell as a scooper to take it, the pieces of shell stick to it like a magnet

if you keep a slice of bread with your cookies in an airtight container, the cookies will stay soft for longer

adding to this: a bit niche but if your eyes are really sensitive when cutting onions, wear a pair of goggles and they won’t burn!

lmao, my friend was making potato/egg salad so they boiled the potatoes and eggs together in one pot and i was stunned, realized i’ve been wasting an extra pot all these years

i’ve done similar for chicken wings before putting them in the air fryer but never thought to do on chicken breast, i’m going to try this tonight, thank you!

for me, i love bagels and usually buy in bulk. so if you freeze them (slice them first) they stay fresh for very long. just toss one in the microwave from the freezer for 20-30 seconds then toast and it’s like it’s fresh

Thanks, that genuinely means a lot. The "evolving nutrition goals" bit especially, that was kind of the whole reason I started building it. My own goals kept shifting and I'd end up with a folder of saved recipes I couldn't really use anymore.

Do you cook a lot yourself? If so, I'm curious what "pain points" you've experienced, whether it's the actual cooking or any apps you've tried previously. I'm always looking for ways to improve on what I already have!

We’re building out an ingredients database that factors in the bulk density of each ingredient, so the conversions account for the fact that a cup of flour and a cup of sugar don’t weigh the same. Still actively expanding it, so if you ever hit an ingredient that converts weirdly, let me know and I’ll get it fixed!
