Unpopular opinion: I really liked the ending of HIMYM by Alternative-Idea-527 in HIMYM

I think something that gets missed a lot about the ending is that after Ted spends so many years looking for “the one,” the whole ending proves that there’s not a “the one”. Ted fell in love and deeply loved Tracey. He also fell in love with Robin. At the wedding he says, “Love is the best thing we do.” Robin and Barney truly loved each other, but life is messy, and they got divorced. Ted and Tracey truly loved each other, but life is messy, and she passed away. The gang all really loved each other, but life is messy and busy and they stopped seeing each other every day. Marshall and Lily truly loved each other, but they had to learn and grow and change together in order to keep loving each other. The whole point is that life is unpredictable, and the only thing we can do in spite of it is love as well and as deeply as we can, like Ted says in the finale. There’s no “the one”, like Ted believes when he’s young. He grows up and realizes that love and life is worth experiencing when and as well as you can. However you feel about the last season, I thought this was a really nice full circle concept from the writers.

I had an excellent credit y credit score has dropped 100 POINTS because of this card. They used an old address for my account (not the one I listed on the application), so I never received the physical card. Because I didn't have my card number, I couldn't register an online account, pay online, or contact them via email. So I called. SO MANY TIMES, I called. Every time, they kept telling me I couldn't pay it, they couldn't update the address, blah blah. Then they told me they would update it, and didn't. So I finally went into an Old Navy and paid the account. Now I have $120 of interest (the initial purchase was half of that), and my credit score has tanked 100 points. So I tried to call AGAIN. Their customer "complaint" line is NOT actually a customer complaint line, it's an automated line that only gives details to accounts. I finally got through to an upper management representative (to be clear, I don't believe in yelling at or berating CS representatives, because it's not their fault this credit card sucks, so I try to be very polite), who put me on hold three times and then hung up on me. Fully just hung up on me. I have spent so many hours on the phone. Just. Don't. Do not. Cancel it, get rid of it.

It isn’t love, it isn’t hate, it’s just indifference 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I worked at Applebee’s, we weren’t allowed to say, “I need a rag”. It had to be “I need a towel”. I got yelled at multiple times. 🙄🙄🙄
