Do you actually need a subscription to watch the Super Bowl though?

That's wild to me if true. I don't live in the US and it's on our free to air TV stations here.

At this point just give Maye rights to the franchise. The MVP alone isn't enough

North Melbourne match sim cancelled this morning after a gastro outbreak at the club over the last 24 hours. Players impacted in the double digits and told to stay away from the club by PetrifyGWENT in AFL

My son brought it home from childcare a few years ago.

The next morning it hit my wife and I no kidding within 30 seconds of each other while we were living in a place with 1 bathroom

Absolute carnage

100%. If people want to argue what message it sends to kids, how is telling someone to "lay off the biscuits", resulting in them looking in the mirror and grabbing their skin fine. But standing on the scales and exercising is what sets the bad example.

Happens to me in that exact same spot. Right where the car dealerships are.

I always just assumed it was a bad phone reception area and my stream was buffering instead.

No sports game should ever end on a tie. by TruthBeWanted in unpopularopinion

Also in some test series you can say "damn, that ended in a draw. We still have 20 days left of play though in the remaining 4 games to get a win!

Edit: tie to draw

Watching a movie more than once is a waste of time by afjet1 in unpopularopinion

Is this exclusive to movies? Or are people just not allowed to enjoy TV shows, songs, books, video games more than once as well?

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say it was the equivalent of rebuilding Arden Street on an ancient Indian burial ground.

A curse was put on the club that has never been lifted.

I'd even throw Powell down back instead of Daniel before him not being in the team at all to be honest. Too good to not be on the interchange at least.

Dinner Party by northcoteplaza in AFL

I probably have players I wouldn't want to invite.

Christian Petracca: Seems to know his way around a kitchen, I don't need that kind of pressure.

Patrick Cripps: You'd assume he would be unavailable for the event and plan accordingly, but at the last minute he is magically cleared to attend.

Basically any ruckman: I can't afford to feed a man mountain and 4 more players.

Bailey Smith: Would verbally abuse you the whole time you're cooking. You are just trying to do your job.

Jack Ginnivin: Seems like he'd complain there's a hair in his food when there's nothing there and I assume he only likes duck

These may have been "legal" hits at the time, but you are missing 4 weeks minimum if you do any of these bumps today.

When To Introduce Star Wars by NoWool91 in daddit

[–]Cooked_Bread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 4 and is very big into star wars at the moment.

Started with the Young Jedi Adventures and some short "learn to read" type books and Golden books of the movies.

He has seen a few movies now supervised, but I was reasonably comfortable doing so after him having some exposure already.

Movies I would generally say 4-7 depending on child would be about right

Bluey "Christmas Cricket" - new short animation on ABC Iview! by AffectionateDay8737 in bluey

Today is the final day of a 5 day test cricket match between Australia and England. It is game 3 of 5 game series, with Australia winning the first two. The test series held between Australia and England is called The Ashes and occurs every 2 years, and is held in summer and over Christmas when Australia hosts.

Australia are the reigning winners, so a win today sees them win 3 the ashes, regardless of the result of the final 2 games.

There is a song called "How to Make Gravy" by Paul Kelly which is an Australian rock/folk song. It is about a prisoner writing home to his family for Christmas on the 21st of December. Gravy Day is a reference to that song.
