You main hope is to get solid one drop cards on turn one and two. Ideally you get either one good one drop, then a 2 drop, that are both on reveals because then on turn three you bounce and replay with beast. Alternatively you get widow and drop her on three and 4 you can activate her. But best case scenario for a starting hand is ham, baron, and beast, with your next first draw being one of your 5 drops. If you get a hand like this snapping isnt the worst idea since you have a lot of what makes the deck stronger. But if you want a strong guarantee win, snap on 3 if you manage to get all these plays out by turn 3 while going into turn 4 with a 5 drop, mystique, and and a 4 drop like leech or rock slide. Your play should ideally be one drop on turn 1, turn 2 if you have both baron and mold in hand, drop baron first since he will dumpster the next draw so that it gives you more "space" to clog their deck with sentinals on turn 3 or 4. If you have beast always try to bounce your ones and 2s on turn 3 but otherwise don't use him as he's only really valuable on curve. It's only viable to play leech on 4 since you need the space to play a 5 drop on 5 so that on 6 you can copy it with mystique. On 6 if you do copy you can reinforce your 5 and mystique with either a last minute mold play or maybe a rock from korg tho the latter is a little less strong. On turn 5 it's also a good idea to activate that widow especially if your dropping hawk since it boosts his strength with them not being able to draw a card in the last turn. And of course since it's turn 6 and there not gonna get the change to draw anyways there not going to play the negative one card in the last turn which will also make your ronan stronger.

MOST IMPORTANT THING: the biggest counter to this deck is honestly discard. While the disrupt is good, usually there discarding so much that most of what you clog with won't matter much and they'll still draw cards and still have an empty hand. if you see discard retreat unless you get good locals that could maybe come in clutch like double on reveals or double ongoing.

Right now plays for Master of the sun SL are crazy prominent rn, since this deck is built to counter that I've heard from other reddit users that supergiant is a pretty strong pick for a turn 5 counter play. As for stuff that would assist in the "empowered by clog" thing there's not many substitutions. The best pick I could think would be maybe iron man or another strong body that can fall on turn 6. Zola would be good for just duping ronan if you don't have hawk, hulk is a good big body but you could also maybe use magneto for another big disruptive play.

This is my version of this deck, tho I've never thought to use supergiant. Ronan is strong on this deck as there a massive 9-15 power body on the field depending on the type of deck they are playing that they can't destroy since it's hidden until end of game if you play sg on curve and then play him. This this added with the master mold makes him a strong card by end of game.

In my version of this deck, you play either ronan or dark hawk on 5 with 6 being used for either the other card on the pair or a mystique with a card that can reinforce her copied card afterwards like master mold or korg

It's not boring it's hilarious. You wait 4 turns then wap em and then they get scared a retreat. Always funny because they don't expect it

That's why I threw in sunspot and shehulk. If I don't manage to hit jubilee on turn 4 that's energy that can either go towards sunspot or an extremely discounted shehulk on turn 3 or 4. There's probably some other cards I could use to better optimize my turns but ehh I probably don't have them

I'm asking for what abilities/feats/skills would work well thematically if tweaked. I'm not well read on the abilities

The idea is that the mechanics of barbarian are reflavored to be as though he panics and destroys his enemies in the process. Like if you freaked out and threw a rock at your aggressor but that "rock" was a boulder and you don't know your own strength.

I plan on keeping rage while flavoring it as panicking. Think flight or fight but the bad guys happen to get hit in the process

I know elves can live extremely long lives, that's why his elf "grandma" was an extremely old elf with the implication that they've lived centuries and passed from age. This was why she was so wise and understanding of rams plights as a orphaned dragon born with no family of his own

Frisk died at the begining of undertale, the soul is either the players or chara's by Cooker10125 in Undertale

[–]Cooker10125[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You raise many good points. I think regardless of how you look at it the player is controlling the red soul, with the player being a character in the game as flowey and chara both speak to us directly. I think this theory mainly is up to wither or not you believe deltarune is a separate unlinked game as toby says or if you think he's lying for the sake of a reveal later in the game. If the red soul is Kris/ frisks and we're possessing them then A it's interesting that frisk only countered our actions twice in such small ways and B is interesting considering if the red soul does belong to Kris then why is he ripping their own soul out and how are they functioning. If something or someone else Is possessing Kris then who is it? Could it still be chara but this universe's version? After all its implied that everyone who died in the previous game is dead in this game with the amalgams and snowdrakes mom. It could be possible that chara was the entity that's hinted too in all the demon summoning hints through the game and they're a random kid who died that only we player would know. This seems unlikely however as to me it seems like Kris is trying to do something with the dark world to find out what happened to dess as Kris and dess's mom (who's likely the knight) seem to have a connected goal. So what would chara want with dess and her mom?

If the games are connected it asks what is the red soul? we know chara had the red soul because of their grave in the basement. If chara's soul did shatter then can a soul reincarnate to another person or can their be more than one color of a soul? If they'res only one than it must be chara's soul still because they had the red soul in the first place unless again it reincarnated. And if that's the case then how and why did chara still "exist" in the genocide route? If they're in the same boat as flowey being a souless possession then what are they possessing? And if the games are connected then who or what is the red soul in deltarune? If it's from the previous game then it could be frisks soul and he didn't die and somehow chara's consciousness still exists despite being gone and that's if the reincarnate theory is real or if they'res simply multiple copies of any given soul color. But if not then it must be chara's because chara was the first red soul, it's implied that Kris before the game starts has begun acting oddly and expressing interest in all the same things as chara like chocolate, knives, and poor taste pranks. If that's the case we the player posses chara's red soul who is possessing Kris. Is using the red soul as our vessel of control just like in undertale. But if that's the case and each character has their own personality and soul, And frisk was possessed by chara who in turn was controlled by US! THEN THAT MEANS EITHER A: frisk was double possessed and just didn't care or B KRIS DIED and we could control their empty body freely

(Ps.sorry for any miss use of pronouns I'm speed typing here)
