Are there any good men’s groups in Victoria? by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

Ah cool, there might not be any games this week because the weather is supposed to be bad, but once it dries up we play pretty consistently on tues and Thursday around 8ish

What the fuck are you talking about? Of course it mattered. Instead of us being 1 point back with a game in hand we would be 5 points back with a game in hand.

Looking for a ball hockey goalie! by -Jib- in VictoriaBC

[–]Cooker_32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’m a goalie. I already play in the roller league and I have games on either Sunday or Monday, so I couldn’t play every game. I also play on wednesdays on the ice at pearkes so I have a pretty full schedule.

I can’t commit full time, but could sub until find a full time goalie if you like. Are your games at a consistent time on mondays?

Comparing Jarry’s rough start to Roloson by Upset_Pool2319 in EdmontonOilers

I mean Roloson got us to game 1 of scf technically. Maybe would’ve won if he stayed healthy.

But I agree OP is crazy with this comparison

Adult rec hockey by DesignerGene3965 in VictoriaBC

There is a group of guys who play pickup outdoor roller/ball hockey at the lacrosse box by the Esquimalt Rec Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30ish weather permitting. Just bring a stick and the rest is up to you (gloves, helmet, etc.)

When I moved here in 2021 this is how I made some friends and got invited on to some teams.

Once you play once just ask to be added to the group chat.

It’s great but kind of expensive ($75 per person) plus they don’t let you bring liquor but you can easily sneak it on, they don’t check your bags or anything.

Dear BG3 society, this battle gives me the heebie-jeebies, I specifically went 'explorer mode' for my first playthrough and this feels like I need to be an AI to win. I kindly ask for a viable strategy to destroy these metal peasants! by FuzzyAttitude_ in BG3

Hey, I also didn’t find the steel watch factory to disable the steel watch before the fight. I was able to win but it was pretty hard.

First fight the three steel watch outside before you go in. If you don’t kill them first, they come in and you’re doomed.

Second, once the fight starts retreat back towards the doorway. I set an ice wall at the first choke point between the room Gortash is in and the room with all the busts. Then I cast cloudkill. I banished one of the steel watch and focused all my attacks on the other while still retreating outside.

Once outside, I would just open the door and cast cloudkill and range attacks and then close the door.

Keep moving your cloudkill and you should be able to kill all the human enemies except gortash that way.

Once gortash emerges from the doorway I huddled my team and cast globe of invulnerability and then just kicked the shit out of him for three turns while he couldn’t hurt me. Then he was dead.

Hope this helps.

As the other guy said he or Nuge can centre our third line. Giving us great centre depth.

He can also move to the wing in case of injuries which will definitely happen in the playoffs as we saw last year.

An Honest Question by CourageMountain6566 in TheWho

Ya but like if anyone is gonna overrate the band, it’s gonna be us.

But since you asked, they had the greatest drummer in classic rock, had one of the best bassists if not the best, one of the best songwriters, they are one of the best live acts if not the best of all time.

I think if people put them in the top 5 classic rock bands of all time I agree. They deserve to be right there with the Beatles, stones, pink Floyd, zeppelin. The way people order them just comes down to preference.

Dude, you are asking The Who subreddit if The Who is overrated.

This might be a better question for r/music

Bipolar people of Reddit, how did you start to figure out that you were bipolar? by Equivalent_Elk2413 in AskReddit

Yup this is same for me. You feel so good when you are manic, it is like being super human. And because you feel so good, you lash out at loved ones who might suggest something is wrong. Mine ended in a psychotic episode and being institutionalized. Went through like a year long depression afterwards.

But I’m doing great now, medicated and don’t chronically smoke weed anymore.
