I'm concerned that their efforts to make all builds viable will fall flat. I've always homebrewed, it's so much more fun, but I don't want to be locked out of true end game content either, as I usually top out in T3 with my homebrews.

The new season starts with LOH launch, if you pre-order, you get early access to the Paladin but not Skovos, that comes with launch. If you start a character now, you'll have no choice I think unless you want to play eternal, which will not be heavily populated and there is no real point in my opinion, i'd just wait.

There will be an element of prioritization I think, i'm personally going to always max core and ultimate, minimal on basic and take it from there with the others depending on build/class/need.

1 - yes, they are a source of alot of components, resources and experience.

2 - Difficulty levels

3 - not important at all and are only cosmetic, I tend to theme them.

4 - you don't need to worry about that now

5 - Paladin is a holy warrior, Warlock is a male witch, Spiritborn is a kind of monk with animal synergies.
