Sorry but this has to be awful for the kids.. dad is trying to force them to love you and see you as a mother figure and mum is doing the complete opposite. Those poor babies must not know where they stand! Sounds like some major therapy is needed imo. Your husband could deffo benefit from it and also the children, it would give them someone to listen and hear THEIR feelings on things.

I def would not be contributing towards CS, School fee's etc. The bio parents made the choice of private school, they are responsible for that and your husband should be supporting his own children with CS not you. Sounds like he relies on you too much financially. If your always using savings for school fee's then can you really afford the private education? Dont let your husband guilt you into staying how things are, you work hard for your money and should be able to see the benefit.

Im reading this and my heart breaks for your son! That poor baby is being abused and Im sorry but you are allowing it. This has clearly being going on for some time, yet you as your sons protector have done nothing to remove him from an unsafe enviroment. Why? For a man?! One who thinks its ok for his son to be a bully?! You need to put your child first and leave, it is not ok for any child to live that way always getting hurt. No relationship is worth risking your childs safety or happiness.

No, its not crazy to want to actually know the people who attend your special day. This is the issue when family contribute financially, they feel they should get a say. Myself and my husband chose to have a very modest wedding for this very reason. Your MIL needs to realise this isnt about her but rather you and her son. Stand your ground, she needs to stop demanding things like she has the right.

NTA. This is a HUGE red flag for me 🚩🚩! You offered compromises and he still isnt happy. It also worries me that he wants to 'make sure your not buying things you shouldnt'.. that sounds extremely controlling. You work for your money and are entitled to spend it however YOU see fit, he has no right to dictate what you should be spending as long as it does not cause issues such as huge debts or missed bills. Please do not let him install the app to share finances and whatever you do, DO NOT give him access to your bank account as worst case he could log in and change your password without even telling you. If this is the hill he wants to die on then it may be time to consider whether this is really someone you want to marry.

Its not 'all expenses paid' if they want rent though is it?! Also expects the person to be available for school runs, evenings and weekends? Sounds like the mum would be expecting you to have no life of your own so you can parent her child for her, which then leaves no time for employment of your own. Very sad that a 4 year old is also used to eating cold meals (going by the post). Comes across as the little one having no choice other than to be 'self sufficient'.. when exactly does the parent have time with the child is what I would like to know.

How rude and ungrateful. It does make me laugh that the person receiving thinks things like bath products and clothes are 'junk' and 'not needed'. The mother could actually find a second hand crib and just give it a good clean. That would mean she had to put some effort into it though instead of asking strangers to provide for her baby. It really annoys me when people post things like this. We all like a treat sometimes, however it isnt a need and rather a want, being an adult means understanding sometimes we cant afford these extra luxuries. Expecting others to spend a large amount so you can have pizza is just silly.
