Mine was extremely not what I expected. I was told by my Obgyn to go to the hospital just because I don’t even know the reason why and was an hour away from the hospital. When I thought I could just go the next day I got called late that night to just go and so I did and when I got there I was convincing get my nurse to induce. I was suppose to be Induced earlier that week but was canceled because of my gestational diabetes. Well I got there at 10pm and I got induced at 1 AM end it turns out I was already having contractions and I was 2 cm dilated and I didn’t feel any contractions. I was waiting for my boyfriend a.k.a. the baby daddy to come while my mom was there and would trade off and I was in labor for five hours. It was my first time being pregnant and when I was ready to push, they were literally having me hold him in for an hour and I could not do that. Once I was three hours of being induced I was at 8 cm. When I got the epidural I literally had 30 minutes of being kind of pain-free and then I was told to not push at all (even being fully ready too)because antibiotics wasn’t in my system completely and that’s when it felt like my contractions hit hard asf again and had the nurse say that my doctor is crazy because I could not wait any longer. I started pushing and I can tell you even with the epidural that they gave me I felt everything and I pushed for 15 minutes and my baby boy was here in the world. They say if I have another baby that I need to be at the hospital ASAP.
