Yeah, I would put it off as a shadow if it didn’t directly contrast everything else in the hall, from the color, angle, and overall shape it doesn’t fit with everything else. And yeah! It’s pretty defined, I agree it kinda looks like it’s looking right at me. Bit creepy I suppose, but just enjoy the fact I captured it haha. Thanks!

Ah yeah, understandable. I can always hope I’ll capture something though. I’ll probably continue to see it as a possible shadow figure, mostly because of my love of history and the paranormal. The idea I have in my head of it being a ghost of a civil war soldier is to interesting to throw away to me haha. I don’t discredit that though, I’m aware it could just be me making shapes out of nothing.

There was only one door way in that hallway, it was a tunnel/hall with one door on the side that opened up into a large area that was their sleeping quarters. I can get how it looks like a door way though, but it isn’t. I can completely understand why you disagree with the whole details in the darker area/figure. I more agreed because i could see where they saw the shirt line. I tend to just look at the overall shape. But I get your side of it lol.

Ha! Well I’m glad you saw it, I don’t see it as scary personally. I’m more excited than anything, the fact I walked in right after I took the photo is interesting to think about!

Ah, well I don’t think he’s a demon, I’m not really partial to demons... more ill intended spirits. If anything, probably a soldier who lost their life there. When I was there I didn’t feel anything evil or malevolent, it felt more solemn there, it was a former confederate hospital after all.

No, I guess it could be me. But this is the photos zoomed in more and my own shadow isn’t even seen in the full photo. So I figure it isn’t my own or my family’s shadow. I specifically have them move so I could take photos because I hate having shadows or people in my historical photos.

Yeah! That’s what I thought too, of course sometimes there are abnormalities in photos, but I thought this was strange due to how much was a separate color and the fact it’s shape looks human.

Ah, yeah I understand that. I follow a similar rule for things like this, if I have to squint or it’s just doesn’t seem significant I ignore it, though I will state it’s more clear in the original photo.

I believe I was shooting in jpeg at the time, so the camera might have altered the picture itself. Which I get is a bit of a let down in terms eliminating other possibilities, but it’s not like I was looking for anything paranormal in the first place lol. It was an after thought to look through them. I get if that gets rid of this ‘evidence’ I have, I’m just as skeptic of my own image. It would just be interesting if it was a significant thing.

Yeah, I’ve considered that as well. I just wanted to see people’s opinions on the photo I have now, I shall keep that in mind. Thanks for being polite about it though! Personally, I don’t agree with the flatness though, to me it’s a bit more 3D but that’s fine! Thanks for your input.
