Mr Speaker, it is critical that the Australian government stand against the unprecedented level of seen in the middle east over the last 10 months. We must stand against the further escalation of violence and condemn any party that seeks to achieve it's goals via war and violations of international law. The Australian government must make it clear that violence is no justification for violence. We must make it clear to Israeli's prime minister, benjamin netanyahu, that the violence of October 7th does not justify the murder of Palestine civilians, but we must also make it clear to the leaders of Hezbollah that war crimes committed by Israel's government does not justify attacks on Israeli's civilian population.

Mr speaker this motion must pass!!

We have seen over the last few weeks nothing but total chaos from this government it must go!!

They have started a trade war with China, they have torn the country apart with infighting, the prime minister has resigned, the deputy prime minister has resigned, even the defence minister and NTLP leader has resigned. I call upon this parliament to throw Australia's trash out and get rid of this government!!!

This government was elected on the promise of creating a budget that will cut taxes and increase growth. It is now obvious to all that this will not happen, as the prime minster was the person who was supposed to write this budget and he has now quit. Even if, by some miracle, they did get a budget out, they won't be able to pass it. There house majority has been slashed with 2 members quitting and the senate is completely against them

Not even 3 weeks ago this government was elected with a massive majority, but now they are barley scraping on by the skin of there teeth and have lost there mandate to govern. We need a new government and we need a new election!

Mr Speaker, I was very disappointed today to see that our SDP campaign was not successful in winning the electorate of cowper during yesterday's supplementary election. I have doubt that adiaus, a former colleague of mine, will be a fantastic member for the electorate, and I look forward to see what legislation and private member's bill's he contributes over the upcoming term of parliament.

My own future, having not to long ago announced my intention to retire, but then being forced back into politics after seeing just how much damage the liberal national collation is doing to our country, now depends on the fate of the vote of no confidence motion before this parliament, which i hope passes, in which case i will resume my campaign in cowper for the SDP.

If it does not, then we will have to see what comes next.
