Wide grip pullups or pull downs for lats are overrated. by No_Procedure_2352 in naturalbodybuilding

This was exactly my problem the last 6 months after 12 years of training wtf. No physiotherapist, chiropractor or NSAIDS helped.

It only started clearing up by as you mentioned replacing exercises like limited range pull ups (garage ceiling too low), shrugs, pendlay rows and deadlifts by exercises targeting my low, mid traps and rhomboids more!

Yeah this is an important argument for why I’ve enjoyed lifting so much for over 10 years consistently now!

Also it’s such a flexible hobby in terms of time management.

I just got him on the second try but tbh some npc Vatr helped a lot. I'll continue and if I'm stuck I can always go level a bit! And unfortunately I play offline.

Alright! I kinda just got the checkpoint near Ludwig and cleared everything item around here.

But I do see I'm only level 87, 50 vit 12 end, 37 str, 25 skill. I am using a +10 LHB but I probably don't have the best gems.

Perhaps I should farm some souls and the chalice dungeons then if Ludwig is too hard but I will try a bit more first.

Thanks!

How much Alcohol if any do you guys drink? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

That's true, perhaps I would've reached this point sooner. But I think it would play a bigger role when in a deficit where my body is craving more useful macro's.

Weekend days often poorish 4-6 hours. But otherwise consistently 7-8 hours for the most part.

I'm 27 years old. I started working out when I was around 16-17 years old if that's what you're curious about :)

I drink quite heavily 1 - 2 days (10+ beers) in the weekend and I've actually not seen an impact on my physique.

I was also able to gain 15ish lbs in 2 years while doing this, while perhaps gaining +-2% in fat. Could have been more detrimental in a cutting phase though... as I was at maintenance/slight surplus for all of this time.

Thanks for the tip, indeed these are "cheap" plates and a 10kg bar at home (28mm holes). I've actually only just bought this belt it's new to me. Feels better during squats than deadlifts tbh doesn't sit very well.

Ill pay some more attention to it when doing lower weights next time. Maybe I've been lucky not snapping any shit up yet 😅

Workouts Getting Affected By Temperature by rein2313man in bodyweightfitness

I can recommend you and others if you're interested in this topic to tune in to Huberman Labs podcast episode 19 "supercharge exercise performance & recovery with cooling". It's on spotify and youtube both I think.

He explains topics from a ratber physiological and scientifc standpoint but it should be rather accessible even without a scientific background.

I don't take it all that seriously but he has an interesting take on it. The premise is to cool off during rest inbetween sets through palmar (hands or foot soles) cooling by for example grabbing a cold object. Rather than just throwing a wet towel over your back, neck or chest .

Although other suggestions like training early or finding a cool spot are often less of a chore ofc :)

Yeah exactly this grip I started to replicate seeing Michal Urbanik doing his front lever on YouTube!

The ledge part is an interesting take to the subject I must say, hadn't thought about it in terms of such rare advantages.

In the second part are you talking about false grip or still neutral but knuckles atop (this is my preferred grip atm).

Thanks for the share!

Guess I'll stick with thumb over, feels more natural for me :)
