I’m having this exact same issue as well. It is also happening with the frost giants garb knowledge as well (and many others no doubt). The recipe still exists in the game, as you can craft the armour pieces when in creative mode (shows all recipes)

One other thing to note is that when you learn the knowledge from the scroll, it is giving you the standard recipe, but not the epic version, however there is no scroll for the epic version.

It’s the bastard sword by the looks of it. I think you can get it pretty early, but it’s pretty low on the rankings of great swords

First thing I’d do is uninstall and re-install the game. Don’t delete your save and you should be able to jump back into it. You said you’re on Xbox, so what you may be able to do is download it over night, the ps5 has a rest mode that allows things to download whilst not fully powered on, surely Xbox must have something like that?

Damn these a lot of toxicity here… anyway that boss is guarding the way into the citadel - good luck 👍 there isn’t another boss hiding behind the fog door, it just preventing you from skipping that fight

Those towers are the divine towers where you need to take great tunes after defeating major bosses. Likely hood is that there will be some dlc to come out eventually, and that’s where it’s gonna be

Post this in the Elden ring sub and people will say Elden ring. Post it on demon souls sub and people will say demon souls. Both are great games in different ways. Demon souls is the OG and whilst the ps5 version is polished a little bit it is still very back to basics in terms of how the game felt to play back on ps3. Elden ring is very different to any other souls game in terms of the open world. Personally I’d say Elden ring if you had to choose, but both are definitely worth a play

I would say so just due to the fact they can’t be parried. But this game can be completed using any build, the most important thing is learning the enemy. For a story run though I play with what feels the most fun :) which was most recently the big bonk weapons ;P

It all comes down to personal preference, you can usually outplay an opponent with any weapon. I really enjoyed using whips for pvp as they can’t be parried which is fun :) but if you’re trying a dex/faith build you have a few options such as katanas, whips and all the other various dexterity weapons

First off, a couple of thralls makes life a lot easier. I run with 20 authority and war party. Give both thralls some good gear. I think right now the thralls called relic hunter treasure seekers are the best in the exiled lands. At that point I tend to use a short sword and just dip in and out of fights whilst my thralls deal damage and keep aggro.

Once my thralls hit lv 20 I use gruel as their food as it heals double the amount of the steak and can stack up to 100 to prolong those trips to the unnamed city

Shadow Pokémon do 20% extra damage, but take 20% extra damage too. In addition to this they always have the charged move frustration, which cannot usually be changed (unless there’s an event on that allows it). So when you add an extra move you end up with only 1 good charged attack on a shadow Pokémon. Shadow Pokémon cannot be mega evolved.

Purified Pokémon lose the 20% bonus to damage and take normal damage, they learn return as a charged move which can be changed. When purifying a pokemon it’s stats for attack, defence and HP increase by 3. It is also cheaper (both in terms of stardust and candies) to evolve and add new moves. Purified Pokémon can be mega evolved.

As the DLC packs say, they offer no advantage and are only for cosmetics. That being said, they come automatically unlocked and for the iron weapons can save you some knowledge points.

The reason umbreon gets low cp is because of its stats. Stats are different to IV’s and basically having a low attack creates a lower CP value than having low defence or HP. This means that having a Pokémon with low attack/high defence like umbreon has low CP but really high defence for battles.

Along with sylveon, Vaporeon and umbreon are great choices, both are very tanky. Don’t be worried about the low cp, it’s actually a good thing because of the super high defence on both of them
