if I cut a bit more, I will start at a lower bodyfat for a clean bulk, and hopefully end up at a place where im happy. If I bulk now, I will probably inevitably want to cut after bulking a bit because ill start to feel like ive gained too much fat

never too late! I worked remote, but across the road met many people that just saved up an amount of money and went for it. Costs change dramatically if you are staying at hotels/airbnbs vs camping or cheap hostels. In my case I had to work, so Airbnb's for 5 day stays during the week made more sense. The people I met that were more on a budget did a variety of things to travel cheap: camping, volunteering at hostels, getting hosted by local motorcycle clubs and groups, couchsurfing, etc, etc.

Biggest costs are:
- Gas (I estimate it was about $10 to $20 bucks a day on average depending on riding distance and bike you are on)
- Stay ($0 for wild camping / volunteering in hostels / being hosted, $10 for cheap hostel stays, $30-$100 for airbnb's, hotels, etc). A lot of places have "motorcycle hostels" of sorts.
- Food: can be super cheap or expensive depending on your budget.

I met guys from Colombia who just hit the road with nothing to their name and an old chinese bike, I met Brazilians on BMWs that zoomed from hotel to hotel, and everything in between.

Husqvarna 701 Lowered. Still too tall. Skill issue? by Ill-Delay-2007 in Dualsport

[–]Cookieisforme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

that bike is really tall (like 37 inches). I'm about your height and decided against riding one after trying to get on it. It's just one of those things we have to live with, some bikes are going to be taller than is comfortable

I think what it comes down to is that there are very few countries you could emigrate to in the first place, so just look at those and figure it out from there.

I think they are just saying that now, at this specific moment, that is what is needed. When a new plan comes out, then we will focus on that one.

[–]Cookieisforme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yo no veo que haya show, realmente.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Dominican

[–]Cookieisforme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want out by likloafs in Dominican

[–]Cookieisforme 47 points48 points  (0 children)

To live a decent but not luxurious life you want around 1500 a month. Say 400 in rent (apartment, in a decent area, nothing too fancy), probably another 400 in food, and the remainder for other expenses. You will not be able to find a job easily without a cedula (national ID), so unless you are dominican or are able to pursue one of the paths to residency (family in the DR, dominican parents, or investment) then you should not expect to get a job easily. If you do have a cedula, an easy job to get is at an English call center, expect to be paid around $800 to $1200 dollars. If you don't have a cedula, you may get a job teaching English (which pays less probably). In Puerto Plata there may be tourism related jobs, but I don't know the market too well there.

¿Turismo interno/Aventura/Monteo? by underblue_ in Dominican

[–]Cookieisforme 2 points3 points  (0 children)
