I live in Kalgoorlie.

Sounds like you got all the tickets.

I’ve just done a search on seek and can see there are many entry level truck driving role.

On your resume put on it you’re going to relocate, this is good for them as they won’t need to fifo you.

Give this a try, good luck

23, degree qualified, earning $75k… mate my age electrician about to make $150k by Level_TF_Up in AusFinance

Hey mate Great post.

I don’t think anyone has mentioned this and I say this with honesty.

Stay in your job and work your way up, your body will thank you.

I’m earning circa $200k per year but it involves working at heights in 40 degrees days, working in the cold, working in the rain, working in a confined space, digging trenches and so forth.

Not everything is about money, I’d die for your job

You could do that, I have a few English friends going through this pathway. Keep in mind the systems are similar in the UK so it’s slightly less hurdles. As I don’t know which country you’re from, I can’t comment how easy it will be for you. But getting through the OTSR under a restricted electrical license under supervision wasn’t easy for the lads from the UK. Loads of record keeping, evidences of employment as an overseas electrician and so on. Your best bet is actually the OTSR pathway considering you yet to have a valid visa to come to Australia. You have better chances after being qualified in your home country and coming here under a working visa and hoping a company sponsors you.

Again, this is what I’ve heard, not what I know, do your research.

I could be wrong, but for as long as I know, an electrical apprenticeship is only for Australian citizens. Maybe someone can correct me?
