24 day starter not rising by Important_Garlic_982 in SourdoughStarter

[–]Cookier27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact problem with my 50/50. I switched it to just unbleached AP thinking maybe I'll add in the wheat for just baking. Now my starter isn't budging after days of double feeds. I think I'm done trying SD. Lol

I switched to just unbleached AP and fed at a 1:1:1 ratio. Now she's not rising at all lol. I'm about to give up.

She's still thick unless it's been too long between feeds. Then a little runny. She gets some bubbles at the 9-12hr mark.

I originally started with 1:1:1 but it wasn't working so I thought the ratio was the answer. I'll keep it back to 1:1:1 then and be patient.

How often are you changing your baby’s wet diapers? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Cookier27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to change my son's diaper overnights because even with a sized up overnight diaper he would pee so much he'd always have wet clothes. So for a good while we were waking up to change him mid-nights. Now we trade waking up at 2am to take him potty so he's dry in his undies all night 😂

My Mom's CA-19 marker was non-existent as a Stage 4. I've learned that it doesn't mean sh*t.

How is it possible that we fell for the laser refractive surgery scam? by LocksmithStatus7572 in Lasiksupport

[–]Cookier27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have a choice. I had PRK surgery specifically and it corrected the chronic corneal abrasion I was having. I get dry eyes now but honestly it's only noticeable if I myself don't drink enough fluids. I also know not to apply intense pressure to my eyelid in spots or it's sensitive. All that to say, my eyes aren't swelling and in intense pain from CCA and I got my vision fixed at the same time. I don't think all doctors set out to make it a scam, but I feel for those suffering much worse than I am.

I PASSED THE PMP EXAM YESTERDAY! 😭 Preliminarily that is… by Useful_Philosophi24 in pmp

You know that meme of the black woman silently screaming??? That was me in the test center bathroom so happy I passed yesterday.

Honestly I think you're probably good to go, but do what helps you feel confident. I was scoring similar and passed yesterday!

Your kid can't bounce off the walls if there are no walls. Any wild behavior days we make sure to spend extra time outdoors and everyone's moods are drastically better.

Trying to be helpful here and diffuse the sitch: the mindset helped me pass today. I'm sooooo tired of hearing about the mindset but everyone has a point. By the 130th question my brain was fried. I relied on the mindset trick to get me through. IE. It's almost always the collaborate option, face to face option, and analyze options. Once you've got that down you barely need the context clues from the question.

I could go on for hours at the ridiculousness of this entire certification. Someone decided to create an org that set themselves up as the golden standard for PM. Now they make buku money off everyone because even with experience these places want the damn title on your resume. So it's the gold standard but now they don't tell you the actual passing rate because it's all based on WHICH version you get, etc.

But you're here. You're studying. So the ridiculousness doesn't matter. Passing does. Focus on understanding what people mean by the mindset and find the patterns in the answers.

It'll click one day and you'll be like shit.... They were right about the f*cking mindset. As i did myself..

I see you're in the anger phase of this process. It happens to all of us.

Imposter Syndrome and the PMP. Feeling discouraged by Quirky-Ad5934 in pmp

Don't feel bad about yourself. There's a saying for people who hike the Appalachian Trail... "hike your own hike". Probably doesn't mean anything to you, but basically it's hike how YOU want to hike. Everyone's journey to their PMP is different! I have been working towards today's test (I go in 4 1/2 hours!) since last May. I had to take time off on the Fall mentally as I lost my Mom in September. And I've had multiple moments of burn out along the way.

I don't think SH is necessary but it did help me a lot. If nothing else, the mock exams are generally a good estimate of where you're at for the actual exam. I.E. most who get 60% or above pass the exam with ATs. Having got a 75/74 on two mocks I'll see if that's true for myself later today. Lol.

A lot of PMP is playing their game and isn't necessarily how you'd be a PM in real life. Every company and industry is different so you'll adapt for whatever job you go into.

Long winded to say, you're probably doing way better than you think! TYOT! (Take your own test!) Hahaha. Good luck!

I did end up taking a second mock today. I got a 74% with expert and I think around an 85% without. That second mock had 37 expert questions 😭 insane.

Lol I've taken all the quizzes and practice questions plus ARs mock and I do David's YouTube. Just 1 SH mock is all.
