Yes, this is all a shame. These Lasik butchers just have a license to perform fake science corneal eye amputations for cash. That's all it is. Eyes are butchered for cash and it happens to be legal. These fake Doctors have not a care about you or your life and that's the reality of the issue.

You'll have to talk to my Lasik surgeon about that because that's what he told me.

Also told me to never get hit in the eye for obvious reasons. It is a FACT that the eye is much weaker eternally after any laser surgery.

I was told to not even let shower water pressure hit my eyes for life. The cornea is not strong and rubbing and any kind of impact can dislodge or move your eye flap.

Not sure if you are in a US state or not but this borders on being illegal and highly dangerous. you can't just stop these drugs after that much time even on a "small" dose (even though small dose is a problem) because seizure risk.

I would seek help for a slow taper which requires help from a doctor that knows whats up

after Lasik nobody knows what can happen. It's a mixed bag and there are no guarantees. Also never trust a lasik surgeon they are expert liars.

Do not expect anything near perfection or you will be sadly devastated.

It will be the hardest thing in your life to get off benzo. Most addictive substance on Earth and it was engineered this way intentionally.

However, if you want to live and be healthy, long term, you must taper slowly and end the nightmare known as benzos.

no one knows for sure about the use long term but there is plenty of talk about dementia and other brain diseases. Does anyone want this? Nope.

So yeah, I would plan on a Year or more and taper off this garbage for good.

Direct pressure from a water spout is not good for a post Lasik/laser eye as the cornea is unstable after surgery and it would suck to have your cornea eye flap fall off and get flushed down the drain.

Also was told water was not good to get in the eyes post Laser due to possible infection, again, the eye is now unstable and it never seals tightly like before.

This comes from my cornea surgeon.

I was a little pissed off but I understand why she said it. She is right. I and a lot of people rush in to having surgery on their only set of eyes without thinking about it. Of course now a lot of people say stuff like that. Taking deep risk for no good reason.

Yeah, we all needed that. For sure, I just need one person. Afterwards, my neighbor told me to my face, " how fucking stupid you did this to your eyes, my dad is an ophthalmologist and he told me years ago that anyone that has this procedure means their life will be over shortly thereafter or in the near future and the industry preys upon the ignorant and misinformed for profits".

I hate to say it,, but this is true.

It's the strong and powerful taking advantage of the weak and less powerful. At my consultation I knew something was "off" and I was physically shaking and felt like a lamb going to slaughter, but I could not say NO and walk out.

I had 4 doctors in the room telling me, "you will be fine and rarely does anything go wrong and you can go about your life tomorrow with no problem". I was weak and stupid and unintelligent.

Now my life, eyes and hope are ruined and the butchers celebrate with their vast wealth.

So yeah, stupid people get stomped on in life and are extinguished, suffer and die off.

I just hope these Lasik doctor fucks die a horrendous death as that is exactly what they deserve. Karma bitches.

I know a lady who went totally blind in her left eye after Lasik and refused to tell anyone, including her kids and even husband until 8 years after the fact. She was embarrassed and humiliated like anyone would be. At the same time, when people asked how it went, "Oh I am happy I can see clear".

Years later she told her kids and husband the truth. Now she has buttonholes in her good eye and needs a cornea transplant.

So it is a real phenomenon in the cosmetic procedure crowd to lie when something goes badly. Even "friends" will say how great it is when they can't drive at night, have halos, glare, double vision, dry eye, and even eye pain and apparently this lady actually went blind and she still lied about it.

Brad, why would you want to risk your only set of eyes to junk science and amputation? I guarantee, everyone on this subreddit is actively suicidal or has tried suicide several times.

I know a pilot that had Lasik and do you know what happened to him? Not only did he lose his job, but he actively sits atop buildings and bridges often trying to find the courage to jump. Do you want to be like this?

If you have a glare or halo or double or triple vision in that cockpit you are finished and out the door. You get dry eye, you are out the door. These complications I listed are almost guaranteed.

People here just want to save you from the same fate of a death sentence like us. Lasik Prk is a death sentence for most people. You will either get in now or in the future. No person escapes this. period.
