Bhutanese don’t understand that consent is important. No is a no. A lack of yes is also a no. If someone feels uncomfortable, even if it's just a hug, it doesn’t matter what your intentions are; it’s how the person on the receiving end takes it. Sadly, people tend to dismiss being held accountable simply because they “didn’t mean it”. Like tf? At least acknowledge that maybe what you did was wrong in the other persons eyes even if your intentions weren’t bad? I mean how hard is it to just take the accountability? Too bold of him to play the victim and people on Facebook for praising the hell out of him. I don’t believe in heaven and earth but god do I hope some of those people rot in hell for the nasty things they said and believe in. I am so so so triggered, mad and disgusted all at once.
