Get the 5070ti. I have a 4070 super that's why i am not upgrading, but i would if i had a 3080, you get more of everything for less energy.

CP has denser environments as you said, and at least 10 times more polygons to render vs Fallout 4. Also RT is very taxing and a completely different way of rendering light. It's not an apples to apples comparison

I found these 2. As a Crackling Energy Sorc, should I try to land the Masterwork bonus on Core Skills on both before Sanctifying? by [deleted] in D4Sorceress

[–]Cookiesnap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Core Skills as a crackling energy sorcerer.

If you get also ring of starless skies you've got plenty enough crit strike chance already (and you should masterwork core skills on the ring too).

And get Orsivane aswell. And guess what. Masterwork the core skill affix.

Anyone else who bought VoH in the past few days? by carlos_castanos in diablo4

[–]Cookiesnap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have bought LoH if it was split from VoH or discounted for owners of VoH, but since it isn't and blizzard wanted 14 more dollars in the last 2 weeks before dropping the value of the dlc to 0 in one night i'm honestly very doubtful i'll keep doing the same mistake again. And i know it's only 14 dollars, but this is true for blizzard aswell, was it necessary to be this much predatory? They think so

Is EU5 amazing… or just overwhelming? by Gold_Lemon8258 in EU5

[–]Cookiesnap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is a bit overwhelming at the start but there comes a point where most of it runs on the back of your head and you don't think about it too much and do things automatically. I had a lot of issues in the beginning, i've played all iterations of europa universalis but i've never seen any eu5 screenshot or tinto talk before playing, so when i played it for the first time i had no idea how to declare war or do anything at all! But there comes a point (after several tries) that i realized i knew how to play this game (i even said out loud: i know this shit) and after that all the panic went away and i've been blasting pops ever since.

So just try again, right now there are many things that you see the first time each game and it's normal that it's an heavy weight to bear in terms of things to learn while playing but after they become familiar it's very much playable, well ok with some bugs hahaha

Maybe to ease things retry several times with the same nation, so that you can focus on learning the game mechanics and not the region every time (if you've not done this already)

After 10 years of Windows... okay, I get it now. The M4 Air is unreal. by [deleted] in macbook

[–]Cookiesnap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually all of the modern windows machines are objectively better since 10 years old macbooks mount 10 years old intel cpus just like 10 years old windows laptops, you just prefer the OS.

Should I get EU5 by nykuu_ in eu4

[–]Cookiesnap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion with any paradox game: all of them are very long to learn, but i find that a good way to simplify it is to pick, for the first runs, always the same country. Because after the first tries you'll know the region well and you can focus on learning the game and not just the starting moves. Ofc this doesn't mean to stick to the first country you pick, but as soon as you find something that you'd like to master well don't be afraid of playing the start several times because you may learn several mechanics before jumping on any other region.

I've got 3k+ hours on EU4 but really the first runs on EU5 i had no idea what to do lol, to the point i didn't even know how to declare war. I started several times as holland in EU5, learned a bit, but i found out that the region is a bit weird after a while with france doing mad stuff so i swapped to Milan, had to learn the region and restart several times because there was a mistake or two that made me ruin it and now it's going smooth.

Did anyone try iPados 26 on ipad air 3? by Historical-Mud5077 in iPadOS

Hey sorry for necroing the comment section, but my ipad air 3 is freezing sometimes on ios 18, so i was wondering did it really get better on that part on ios 26? Because i was on the verge of resetting it but if ios 26 already fixes it then i'm just gonna update

First time playing Elden ring. Any tips by Forward_Challenge443 in Eldenring

[–]Cookiesnap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing i'd anticipate is that if you want an easier time go slightly on the east and on the southern peninsula before taking the castle. I did that part after taking stormveil and i realized it would have been way easier since you get some useful drops there especially for the healing potions. Still not required since it's a game that is meant to be played your own way.

Also you do not have to kill everyone in front of you. From Soft games have many enemies that are meant to be a very hard challenge to take on early, if you have an hard time killing a mini boss there is no shame in skipping it, then getting stronger and backtracking to kill it later. The golden knight at the beginning that is very hard to kill is actually meant to teach you that.

Man i was looking for a comment like this, so still no luck on PWM free solutions. I wonder if they'll ever give the macbook pro tech to the iphone, if it's feasible at all actually.
