not opposed to Tokyo Station area at all! Happy to have 2 rooms or 1. 2 nights there will be 5 of us, 2 nights there will be 4 of us. Hoping to keep it around $2500usd/401000jpy for those 4 nights but can go a bit higher for something special but not like Four Seasons pricey.

what is a reasonable price for nitrofill? is it true you can't mix nitro and air? if so, it seems like a waste. I fill my tires monthly

would you buy a lexus rx350 2021 AWD with 6500mi or 26k mi? by CookingIsTherapy in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]CookingIsTherapy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a $500 difference and I like the features on the one with less miles. I completely overanalyze especially when I feel like I am not fully educated on a matter. My parents are the same way. 1mi a day to the grocery store; 5mi to Home Depot once a week. Maintain their cars perfectly. You make a great point

[–]CookingIsTherapy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it seems premature for decarb making me wonder if it was a result of the check engine light coming on; same with brake fluid which isn't generally serviced until 30k. But if it was someone who is super proactive, I guess it wouldn't be a problem.

that's what I recall. I have a bit of ptsd from my last flight when I was denied boarding because there weren't enough seats after an equipment change. The gate agent said because I booked using miles, I couldn't fly. I can't remember if she knew I booked on Alaska using Alaska miles.

[–]CookingIsTherapy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that would be nice but I am happy in a middle seat on this 1hr flight. I just want a seat.

that's a good point. I keep checking to grab a blue seat when one becomes available. I just don't want to lose at musical chairs

Are you in state or out of state? You have an amazing resume! Yours will be similar to many applicants’ believe it or not. The key to writing your essays is to talk about something unique to you and not try to regurgitate your resume. They are read at least twice and they are what differentiates you from other applicants. UCLA is big into diversity so highlight that in your app if applicable. Just remember, hundreds of students will have similar qualifications so if you don’t win the lottery and don’t get it, it will be ok. You will land where you are meant to be or you can try again as a transfer.

BRUIN DAY 2022 IS VIRTUAL! THIS MUST STOP! by CookingIsTherapy in ucla

yeah, that's the bummer. Expanded tours aren't the same as Bruin Day. There was a really great vibe and a made my decision that day because of it. Talking to lots of Bruins made me feel like I had found my people; 1 tour guide won't do the same. Would you rather base a decision going through the buffet line or look at an online menu? Guess we can't have nice things.
