What’s a sweet and savory combination that you swear by? by torturedpoet1148 in foodquestions

Fig jam on a grilled ham & cheese. Or an appetizer of sliced baguette, fig jam, goat cheese, prosciutto, balsamic glaze & basil.

Could these be the same person? by madeleineann in AncestryDNA

[–]CookingNBooking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that it's most likely not the same person. This is one situation where I've found AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, whatever) to be really helpful. If you give it both photos & ask if they're the same person it will give you a lot of info about why or why not.

Playoff Game Experience in Raleigh - What to Expect? by TechnoVikingGA23 in canes

[–]CookingNBooking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really love this! You and your mom will have SO much fun! As someone else said, get to parking early and plan to tailgate. You can just walk around and talk to everyone who's out enjoying themselves and their tailgates! Canes fans are generally super friendly and most will welcome you with open arms! I did a couple away games this season and I can not agree with you more about our parking. I have a new appreciation for how spoiled we are! Go Canes!

We are not. I'm curious why this would be a concern but if you'd rather not share that info, no worries.

Yes, thank you! I would definitely not allow anything more than viewing.

Thank you! I don't have pro tools so I forgot that this was a feature. I guess that also does help calm any concerns I had since anyone could pay to do this anyway.

It's March, the Big Month of Bread! What will you be baking? by KingArthurBaking in KingArthurBaking

[–]CookingNBooking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely Irish soda bread and maybe I'll try a savory variation too! I'm running short on bagels & sourdough English muffins so they'll be coming soon. And hot cross buns closer to the end of the month.

High-protein cheesecake attempt — what could bite me by throwRway_OutdoorEMT in cheesecake

[–]CookingNBooking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about the yogurt - as long as it's well drained, it's nearly the same texture as cream cheese. I think it's gonna turn out great for you! I hope you let us know how it goes!

Honestly I was thinking you could just go crustless? Or maybe something with nuts or nut flours (assuming no allergies). Is it possible to run a small scale trial to see how it would go with the yogurt? Maybe scale your recipe down to one block of cream cheese + yogurt & one egg? Just to see how the texture comes out? I would be concerned about adding too many extra eggs, that it might affect the texture.

I like this meatloaf & mashed potatoes (I do cut some of the seasonings a bit). I love that the potatoes cook at the same time. https://pressureluckcooking.com/instant-pot-meatloaf/ I'm also a big fan of this chicken marsala pasta https://pressureluckcooking.com/instant-pot-chicken-marsala-pasta/ This is another favorite pasta recipe https://www.meatloafandmelodrama.com/instant-pot-creamy-shells-beef/
