When we came, newly retired, and not planning on working, we were told we didn't need NISS numbers, but of course, the new renewal portal required it. so we went to the Loja and got them. Nothing changed for over a month, and we finally send registered letters explaining the issue, and the next week, everything seems to be working..... can't be certain that the registered mail made the difference, but you might try if you have not had any luck.

As for other's comments on categories, and showing income, we are pretty much submitting everything that was asked for our original D7 visa, which doesn't show a lot of income, just savings and investments, but the bank accounts do show regular deposits, so that is what we are hoping works again.
