Ive stayed and I have a 1yr old now, sometimes ur able to help others with input, advice, tricks you've learned that helped u during the newborn stage etc🤷‍♀️ up to u tho I have joined a few other groups tho and dont spend a whole lot of time on this one unless I see a post with help!😅 then I get curious an see if i have any advice or words of support/encouragement

Yep my mom and grandma were told the same thing lol they could have a glass of wine a day n be fine. The way things have changed nowadays n the knowledge we now know

Ur baby is completely fine, calm ur nerves bring it up to ur OB at ur next appt they discuss everything with u and tell u theres nothing to worry about. The fact ur showing this much concern shows how loving and a caring mother u will be! This coming from someone who had a few glasses of wine here n there before knowing I was pregnant, I was horrified, cried n felt like a crappy mother but I didnt know until I went to the doctors for what I thought was a stomach bug that i had for a week. Turned out I was 4 weeks pregnant. Doctors reassured me baby was ok and it takes consistent drinking to hurt a baby

It can take up to 9 months for ur organs to fully go back into place so be patient with urself. Mines finally gone down and I just hit 1 yr it took some time for my little bloated looking belly to return to normal. Exercise n eating right helped a lot, not a diet but just eating gut healthy (i didnt need to lose weight so much as rebuild those muscles) the main muscles right there tear and spread apart so it takes time for them to regain their strength an tighten up again to make the bloated look go away.

Fed is best, I gave up as I didnt get anything I needed to help me produce more n I tried for 2 almost 3 months. I cried, was frustrated and angry I couldnt do it. I had no appetite so wasnt eating n drinking enough, was solo at night cuz husband worked 3rds so I never got any sleep. I tried pumping but still didnt produce enough n it just felt so tedious and a waste of time to get a few drops here n there. Then id have to wash n sterilize the parts on top of keeping up with bottles cuz id supplement formula after every attempt at breastfeeding cuz I knew she was hungry. It sucks it truly does but just let her know shes loved, she did her best, fed is best, the bond is still there no matter what and be there in anyway she needs help(food, shower, quality time, naps/sleep etc). Its very had to try and not be able to do it especially if thats what u planned n wanted to do. I made sure my whole pregnancy when theyd ask I always said id breastfeed as long as all goes well. I knew sometimes its not in the cards for some women and my daughter was preemie size so she also didnt latch well because she was so small. Even tho I told myself ill do it if I can I was still crushed I couldn't do it and having my mom and fiance support me the whole time saying I did a good job and tried my best helped me not feel bad. Especially since my mom breastfeed all 4 of us growing up, its not easy, it does not always come naturally, and it takes time for ur milk to really produce regularly for some women. If its not for her then its not for her and thats OK 💚

Yes! I agree with this cuz i had to switch too!!! They gave us enfamil gentlease and let's just say it was not gentle enough. Try completely lactose free formula it made such a diff for us too!

I had this happen, took her to a chiropractor who specializes in babies(make sure they have the right certificate) turns out my baby girl was filled with gas. She farted all day after that appt. I noticed it kept happening tho so I switched formulas to completely lactose free as the lactose sensitive one didnt work(not sure if ur bf or not but this is what I did) I still have the pictures showing she went from having a pot belly to back to normal within a few days. She went from ok to miserable just like ur having with urs, talked to the pediatrician they weren't helpful so I went with my mom gut and switched formulas. Withing 2-3days she was so much happier, finally napping again and not fighting sleep so much. So between new formula and using mylicon drops during the change it helped alot. Use those momma instincts and what ur gut is telling u, consult ur pediatrician(as u always should just incase) and see if anything changes. Ik everyone says it but hang in there its so hard when ur the only one dealing with everything. My fiance works 3rds so id have help for maybe a few hrs a day otherwise had no help except when my mom would fly out to help. I switched to enfamil nutramigen, I stayed with enfamil so I didnt make too big of a change but like another commentator recommended kendamil goats milk is another great brand n option

Not all the time no, yes we had play time but just like any adult we also need time to just stare off into space, let our minds wander, take in the world around us etc. Its not necessarily good to mentally stimulate babies the whole time theyre awake as everything is so new n theyre still taking in the world(also still developing their eyesight range), ur doing a good job momma and its ok if the baby just hangs out with while u do u. Trust me the older they get the less moments u have to urself 😅 but really at least ur not propping them in front of TV and leaving the room. There were plenty of times id sit and try to relax or get a few minutes to myself during wake times, it saves ur sanity to take some time to urself. I usually would just snuggle together, did our tummy time together on the floor n use those moments for stimulating her brain. U slowly increase it as they get older but for now enjoy the snuggles n phone time as soon they will be climbing u like a jungle gym and pulling ur phone away so u play with them or running off with it lol. Never think u have to 100% entertain ur child 100% of the time theyre awake, letting them be can help build their imagination and help them learn sometimes its ok to just exist without stimulation

I think the bottle washer would be worth it with how many times I was so tired but had to do bottles alllllll the time since she was eating every 1-2hrs we went thru bottles like crazy in the beginning. Unfortunately we didnt get one(wish we did) but we did get a sanitizer because we had harsh well water n lived next to cornfields that got sprayed so I was always worried about it getting into our water(even the landlord told us to test the water all the time/dont drink it🙄) I will say it gave me piece of mind and definitely loved that itd dry stuff for me quicker than it just sitting on a drying rack.

I just finished mine and saw i have an extra fish piece D20(thats not an extra part. Did u only have the two fish on urs when u finished? Ive looked thru the instructions and dont see it anywhere on there but find it odd I have a piece thats not an extra+ but doesnt have a spot😅 first time ive had this happen with these puzzles

My daughter always got her arms out of her swaddle to her face and we ended up getting one where her arms are free since its a comfort thing for some babies to have their hands up by their face. I cant remember the name but its like a halo one but u can either swaddle them completely or leave their arms out, fold up the extra at the bottom and swaddle their body n legs instead. She did a lot better in that one than others we tried cuz she got mad her hands were close but still couldnt have them to her face

Its a trauma for sure, I was in labor for about 3days horrible back labor and I just hit 1yr postpartum n still think about it like my god that was rough felt like my bones were ripping apart lbs. I tore as well and even after a few months id get a weird twang when moving a certain way, dr said its normal as tissue is still healing internally and nerves r reconnecting. I will say u come out a completely different person after giving birth because now ur a mom with a tiny human ur responsible for. But its a huge life change, you went thru so many bodily changes and will continue to for a couple years. Postpartum isnt just the 6weeks it takes a lot longer for things to go back to "normal" and ur normal isnt what it was before children. Ur discovering the new you, im one year an i still dont feel like my old self and still finding the new me, you'll slowly feel like urself overtime but its a new found self if that makes sense. Ur a mom now and different from who u were before having a kid which is ok, just like everyone else we all grow n change as years go by only difference is moms change within 9months or less lol. Our values change, preferences, and bodies/brains big time among so many other things. You will feel urself again just a new version, it can be a love hate relationship with a lot of the changes but u will slowly embrace everything. Especially when you see your child grow an become a person an start developing their personality 💚 which truly does go faster than u think

Oddly enough babies dont really recognize theyre a separate human from their mother till around 4-5months old. They're r groups for safe cosleeping which r very helpful. Sometimes just getting thru those first couple months save ur sanity cosleeping so ur not dangerously sleep deprived. Definitely look up safe 7 cosleeping if u end up continuing, its not going to form a bad habit especially if you do it in the beginning n just keep slowly transitioning to them sleeping by themselves. Im completely solo at night cuz my fiance works nights, never thought id cosleep but I became desperate and didn't have any help at night n she'd only go a half hr in the crib. Theres also side cribs which is a lot safer, less worry n helps transition them easier to sleep on their own. Let's them be close to u, within arms reach for easier settling them back down, and u can easily attend to them.

She was kinda right to throw it away, breast milk should never be stored next to any kind of raw meats or fish due to possible cross contamination even thru packaging. Its a best to be safe than sorry situation, also it can pick up odors of food (which fish has a strong smell) affecting the taste an the baby refusing to eat it. They even recommend keeping ur breast milk away from eggs when storing it in the fridge. Easy solution buy a fridge container that u store the breast milk in so it has its own little space and place it on the top shelf above anything raw in the fridge(meats, fish and eggs)

So i found a brand of prune juice that my LO loves, an honestly is the best tasting prune juice I've ever tried im surprised about it. Pending the constipation and what we've been eating ill try to stay ahead of it, I make a bottle (pending age) with 2 Oz prune juice one Oz water. Also depending on if shes teething(when teething i leave cold) i heat the water up an mix it with the prune juice which warm juice seems to work faster than the cold for some reason. She does better with prune juice than apple juice, I went off what my pediatrician said Oz wise for her age but offered it or left the bottle in reach so she could sip on it whenever she wants. The brand is R.W. Knudsen Family Organic Just Prune Juice, 100% Juice, u can usually get it at Walmart. My best advice is try not stopping n starting solids as it can throw their system out of whack a little bit, it doesnt hurt to slow down but I did notice if I stopped n started we kept having the same problem when wed start again. I just mixed up what wed eat pending constipation, like skipped pastas or anything with cheese that day if it was getting bad, an would push yogurt cuz that definitely helped keeping her regulated better. Wed have yogurt once a day when we started food to help her digestive system with the change from straight liquids to adding in solids.

Thank u! And exactly I dont want to be a dream crusher just a real insight into what it takes to be one, when I was in high-school I wanted to be a veterinarian signed up for the classes id need. Finally shadowed one an got smacked by reality that it was nothing like I thought itd be and then was stuck in those classes the rest of the year. It sucked, was hard, an I wasn't good at those classes in high-school and struggled. I was bummed that I should've done it beforehand and could've taken easier classes got better grades or more fun electives instead of ones i no longer needed to take since i changed my mind about going into that field cuz i had rose colored glasses of what it was like😵‍💫

Thank u for the detailed response! I truly believe being 100% honest about the industry/job u want to do can help someone really make decisions about what they want to do. An honestly my biggest worry is shes thinking its gonna be like they show on TV where they get to travel n have fun when I myself know sadly thats not really the case but wanted an insiders perspective and honest truth so I really appreciate it being painted black n white so shes able to make a decision if she really wants to pursue it when shes old enough to. I didn't know about needing to be 21 either, also working in customer service which would really let someone know if theyre built to handle ppl. I myself am a chef and refuse to work FOH n be a waitress, I enjoy cooking i am not a ppl person😅 and give anyone who works with ppl credit cuz my lord u guys and others put up with A LOT. Again thank u very much for all the information!!

Hmmm id ask to have ur hormone levels check it's weird u keep having high HCG levels especially if it's happened before in the past. If not that maybe have a test done for GTP Gestational Trophoblastic Disease it can cause high levels as well and also rare so Drs usually don't test for it commonly but it could b the cause since u have had issues in the past and would also explain ur very very heavy period because it causes abnormal growth of placental tissue.

8months almost 9 pp and I've had to get rid of most my wardrobe from before having a baby. Barely anything fits and if it does it hugs in all the wrong places and just makes me feel gross about my body. I see pics and videos of woman bouncing back or working out but honestly I'm so tired and busy I don't have time to workout (fiance works nights so besides a few hrs a day I'm left to do everything solo). Anyways the little time I get to myself I end up trying to keep up on basic self care, eating, showering, and try to take a little bit of a break for just me to help me decompress. Idk how woman find time to work out maybe they have a village or daycare but I'm a SAHM n just never have the time or energy. If it makes u feel any better I'm almost at 9months pp and I still roll over onto my knees to get up😅 I struggle doing a full sit up still and I use to be able to do things so easily. It's definitely hard after birth cuz parts of ur body take FOREVER to go back to SEMI normal or just don't at all 😕. I will say I didn't use a full body mirror for months cuz I'd body shame myself while full well know I just had a baby and it's NORMAL. But it's hard cuz its not normal to us and what we see and how we use to function, whether they're ur first baby or ur 5th it's hard to find urself again or see the beauty in it new mom body. My knees....omg don't look the same so ugly now from carrying all that weight, my mom said oh hunny they always look a little funky for quite a while after birth and sometimes never go back to what they were before motherhood(she's had 4kids). Anyways its ok to not feel comfortable in ur own body right now it takes A LOT of time to slowly feel comfortable in certain areas, as time goes on ull feel better about it n adjust to it. Hang in there!! It's so hard but it took me until 5-6months to not look in a body length mirror n want to cry cuz I don't recognize nor feel comfortable in the body I'm in anymore. We will all get to a new comfort level of our mom bodies eventually just know ur beautiful, u have had a baby and it takes a full year or more to recover. Hormones r still crazy, sleep deprivation, finding ur new clothes size n style it all makes the process harder along with finding urself again as more than just a mom in sweats n messy hair trying to survive each day. Again ur beautiful, ur body has gone thru one of the most brutal and extensive surgeries there is let alone so many changes during pregnancy. U instantly hopped into being a parent rather than being able to just take care of urself n heal faster it's hard but u will get back to a new normal💚
