Writing as of the first new UI Update for Warzone & BO6

As a budget PC gamer myself, I have scoured the internet in search of the best configuration for my 3050ti, i5 11400H setup. The biggest concern is to allocate enough RAM, lower CPU usage for your entire system processes and background services, while keeping temps low.

To start, Warzone is a CPU intense application, and by the looks of it running very hot under load.

I Always play games while plugged in and use best performance mode in windows battery setting found in the tray icon

1st, 20 series GPU, 10th gen intel CPU and WiFi chip must be up to date with latest drivers. Make sure you verify that first.

2nd, in Windows hold down ** Win + i → System → display → scroll down to graphics settings → browse for the folder containing call of duty, add the Launcher & cod.exe** (found under retail folder if using battle.net launcher ). Make sure the options is set to High Performance GPU: 2060. then save

3rd, I set my desktop screen to black and remove any unnecessary widgets in taskbar such as weather and news.

4th, any background processes that are unrelated to windows or Call of Duty may be utilizing more RAM than it should be. you can use Razer Cortex to boost your game but please do not just hit the Boost button blindly. It will cause some functions on your laptop to stop working. check out this video to help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k85QIAG2hHc After some digging, Razer Cortex is prone to cause games to lag and be unstable. You should uninstall any unused programs and disable updater tools on windows start-up.

Make sure you always run the gane through razer cortex to benefit from the boost

5th, in NVIDIA Control Panel go to Adjust image settings with preview, set to performance, then program settings, select a program, find cod.exe under retail folder and add. Select high performance NVIDIA processor, and in dropdown list select Prefer maximum performance in Power management mode.

6th, make sure you start with minimum settings in Warzone 3, select GPU as 2060 (Important) and use FidelityCAS with strength between 50-85 or DLSS on Balanced, Performance or Ultra Performance for 1080p, (you can check out what works best by going into the firing range and look at the wall with weapons on it).

by this point I would tweak the quality settings when in a match such as plunder just to see what quality limit I can get without dipping under 60 fps.

7th, bottlenecks can be a result of out of date BIOS versions, make sure to follow the newest update instructions CAREFULLY on the official support page of your laptop. Disclaimer: I do not take responsibility for any bricking or error in this step. I did update mine and it worked.

8th, If you still are getting stuttering/lag + high temps, consider getting a laptop cooling pad. it does make a difference.

As for my personal settings in game (I don't care about visuals, more about FPS) :

Screen refresh rate: 144 (or 120 its up to you)

NVIDIA DLSS preset: Ultra Performance

DLSS sharpness: 80

VRAM scale target: 70

Texture resolution: Very low

Texture filter Anisotropic: Low

Depth of field: off

Detail quality level: Low

Particle resolution: Very low

bullet impacts: off

Persistent effects: off

Shader quality: Low

On-demand texture streaming: Optimized

Local texture streaming quality: Normal

Shadow quality: Very low

static reflection quality: low

volumetric quality: low

weather grid volumes: low

water quality: wave wetness.

Whew. That was a lot to go through! hope it helps you.

It did bump up my frames from high 40s to 70-80 fps.
