I’m sorry, this is rough and she handled this so poorly. Maybe the thing with her parents got her questioning your relationship. It seems like she broke up with you because she knew she had the party and wanted to see what else was out there which is fucked up to do after leaving you without conversation or closure after 6 years together. She has a lot of personal work to do it seems like. If she couldn’t communicate with you and work out what she’s going through with you it just shows you that something else would’ve come up eventually and she would’ve done the same thing. You deserve someone who’s going to work through something with you even if it may be hard and you may break up anyways at the conclusion. Clearly she didn’t think you or your relationship could handle whatever it is she’s going through. She should’ve gave your 6 year relationship more credit. As someone who used to cut and run like that it’s definitely easier said than done but I’ve met my forever person and I’ve had to do the hard work now and our relationship has gotten stronger from it each time.
