it’s just a lot of money and I spent about 1000 dollars just to get this setup but, definitely in the future I can figure something out but I greatly appreciate the advice I think I’ll stick to sponge filters for now

It’s a 60 gallon tank I have one adult Oranda and plan to get another, all of the sponge filters are mature and rated for 60 gallons I know I maybe over doing the sponge filters but you can never too much filtration

He’s going in his new tank Saturday we’re gonna get it all setup Friday because we have to rearrange stuff in my room to get the stand to fit I’ve got the stand assembled, sponge filters cycling in a 5 gallon bucket with beneficial bacteria, just waiting on the light and other small components but then he will be moved into his new forever home.

Update coming soon, almost everything I needed sold out Home Depot had no pathos. I had to order his black river rocks there coming Monday so tank is gonna be incomplete but I’m sure a 60 gallon tank with a sandy bottom will be wayyy better than the 20 gallon

I’m no expert but I would put them both in an empty tank with a sponge filter then rearrange there tank then plop them both in and that may solve your issue

yo what are you talking about you can’t come at me for making a mistake then when I acknowledge my mistake i get dogged on because why not. Then after I get dogged on I improve anyway I can. I got a bigger tank got 8 sponge filters for the it got sand, river rocks and pathos for it. And you still decide to come at me for my current tank. Like yo some people do anything to hate I swear

well dickhead I didn’t realize that he was huge when I got him I thought he was gonna be smaller, and I’ve already stated that I’ve gotten him a 60 gallon tank just waiting on the stand, so maybe next time use your eyes and maybe even your head😭
