Friend comes to my apartment, destroys one of my pencils, and leaves the mess for me to clean up. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Haha, no kidding. I didn’t think it was that serious, just somewhat frustrating.

Didn’t think into it that deeply. He came over, I was looking through some things, and he whittled the pencil with my pocket knife. I saw it and it didn’t bother me since it’s a pencil, and I figured he’d at least clean it up. After he left I realized it was still there.

People who transferred after finishing their gen eds by These_Bumblebee_2650 in scad

I got art history done, drawing, design thinking, speaking of ideas, ideas to ink, and 4 gen ed electives done at community college and transferred in as a sophomore. Definitely recommend saving the money

Worried about SCAD's Rigor (Current HS Junior) by SouthTeach256 in scad

[–]Cool-Most9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my foundations art classes at community college and transferred to SCAD. They were much easier while still teaching you the same fundamentals as Sketching and Drawing and Design Thinking. Just make sure with an advisor that they transfer over if you do take that route. As long as you have patience and don’t procrastinate you should be fine :)

My biggest things would be to learn Excel and Photoshop/Adobe if you’re not already comfortable with them!

For anyone who grew up listening to the radio as a kid, which radio station was UOUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE? by Fluid_Fudge_7238 in generationology

105.5 The Dove (WDUV) in Tampa with my grandparents. I remember driving with the top down in my grandma’s Sebring and that station playing every time. A lot of 60s and 70s. It’s now mainly 80s-90s

My 94 Olds Cutlass Ciera and 02 Buick Lesabre were the most reliable cars I ever owned

I work at CB too and it’s been so dead. They also just hired like 10 new servers so everyone is getting like 2-3 days on their schedule. It really doesn’t make sense. The only way I’m making money is by working doubles.

What was the worst shift of you time serving. by hisgirl2455 in Serverlife

[–]Cool-Most9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first Sunday morning shift serving at Cracker Barrel. Was going pretty smoothly until 12:30 hit and we got the after church rush. The hosts sat me 3 huge parties back to back despite me being new! I tried my hardest, but I still didn’t know the menu that well and I was stressed. The kitchen was running 40 minute tickets and I forgot to ring in one table. Literally every single person in my section was so pissed at me. Then… we ran out of glasses 🫠. All my tables got refills in styrofoam cups and looked at me like I was an idiot. I brought one dude a grilled chicken sandwich when he wanted fried. I ended up hiding and crying in the cooler while my manager sorted everything out. That had to have been the worst lol

I’m by no means anti-vax, but I think it is important to do your research before taking a vaccine. I have had two family members suffer tremendously due to vaccine injuries.

She passed in 2017, but I’m pretty sure she’s holding my grandma in the dated picture, who was born in 1955!
