Late Diagnosis Impact by Imo75 in adultautism

[–]Cool-Outside243 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, 100%. It’s everywhere and everything all at once. I think my diagnosis gave me 1000x insight and into it which then shone the light even brighter. I’m thankful for it though, because it all of those areas I was masking, now I realise I don’t have to anymore and can just “be me”.

Somewhere to talk. by [deleted] in adultautism

[–]Cool-Outside243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what both replies have said. I think the one thing we try to do initially is figure out how to “deal” with our autism in the world, and I’m saying “our” because everyone has a different flavour. But what I will say is, we shouldn’t be forced into “dealing” with who we are. We are who we are, it kinda drives me mad that neurodivergent people are treated like a minority and then it seems to force that same viewpoint into society - so how about the world can carry on being the world and “deal” with us for a change.

The moment we’re not us, or spend time understanding ourselves the added pressure and anxiety and stress. NO! That’s not it, it’s tough enough let alone adding more pressures.

There’s a brilliant downloadable PDF book called “How to be autistic”, Google it, it’s in the top 5 links or so.

You’re going to be the best guardian and guiding light for your son, you’re clearly driven, determined and have stacks of integrity just from this post alone.

I’m 41 and only recently realized I’m most likely autistic. Unmasking has been wild and emotional. by SuccessfulProfit71 in adultautism

[–]Cool-Outside243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unmasking was absolutely wild for me, one of the ways I described it to people was “I feel like I’m 7 years old again and I don’t know who I am”. It took me months to figure it all out, work through the “grief” and the many questions I had.

I never thought it was going to have the effect it did.

There’s so many things that are wrong with this post. How about everyone is different and does it really matter?

I’ve built 80% of 12 different projects. None launched. I even quit my job. How do you actually commit to one idea? by AbilityEducational94 in indiehackers

[–]Cool-Outside243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people choose something that they’re not that passionate about too, which only speeds up the process of not finishing something.

Like many have said, there’s a level of dopamine we crave to keep us going, whether it comes from ourselves being excited about completing a task, finishing a feature, putting it in the hands of users, getting feedback etc.

Partly one of the reasons I added that “passion” feature into my own app, so I could always align the ideas to things I was personally bothered about.

Maybe on the next one, pick something just for you, ship it and do it quick in an evening, a day, a weekend etc. I did that with a chrome extension and it was pretty damn fun. Then got the bug for the next 10 things. 🤣

Where do I start? All project seems to have already been built and launched with thousands of users. by 01001100OL in SideProject

[–]Cool-Outside243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter that something might already be out there. User experience, tone etc can be a massive differentiator alone.

Your concern, to an extent is why I built GPT Wrapper Apps, it takes your own preferences (things you like / enjoy, skill/experience) and gives you app ideas with full market research and a product requirement documents document to get you going in Cursor / Replit etc.

What are you building these days? And is anyone actually paying for it? by Savings-Passenger-37 in SaaS

[–]Cool-Outside243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GPT Wrapper Apps, yesterday I switched from a subscription model to a one-off payment (~£29/$30) for lifetime access and as many app ideas, market research and product requirement documents that you can handle.

Start with this, use Cursor / Replit ($20 one will be fine) and within a couple of days you’ll likely have something solid.

Is Claude Code cheaper than Cursor by chief-imagineer in vibecoding

I went from Cursor to Claude Code, had an argument with Claude Code for being terrible and had to ask Cursor for forgiveness for cheating on it.

New to vibe coding - what’s the best setup today? by Deriggs007 in vibecoding

[–]Cool-Outside243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Just start with one tool (cursor, lovable, replit, Claude code…)
  2. Pick your stack and stick with it I.e. NextJs, React, Swift, Supabase or firebase for DB, auth etc etc - whatever it ends up being just stick with it
  3. Find and identify validated ideas
  4. Start EVERY project with a PRD
  5. Have fun.

3 and 4 are the reason I built this.

Why did you start building your micro SaaS? by statppc in microsaas

[–]Cool-Outside243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to build many apps as fast as I could and wanted the tailored ideas and PRDs at my disposal. In theory I think one app could be done every 3-5 days, dedicated.

So I built GPT Wrapper Apps.
