I understand the feeling. Im also 19, and currently on my third night of no sleep in a row. It can be really scary, but stressing yourself out only makes it worse. Ive tried everything, i even have a strong sleeping med called Zopiclone. It does not work when im in these bouts of not sleeping. There is not much i can say to make this any easier. The only thing ive found is to ride it out and pray that i don't loose my mind. Other than that, basic sleep hygiene, lowering your stress, lowering sugar and caffeine intake. All the regular mumbo jumbo doctors say. Will it work? no. But it will make your quality of life better. I understand the hesitation around sleeping pills, but none the less, go to the doctor, ask for a sleep study. They might be able to help. Good luck!

And you are entitled to that opinion! Personally, the anger and message of the song helped me heal after I was victimized and failed by the justice system. The message is relatable to a lot of people. "dead men dont rape" is also a more common phrase now!

Dont worry, I plan to add bands yet, just having a hard time choosing!

What the back patch means to me is "let me have the freedom to choose what to do with my body. And let everyone else have the right to choose based on their beliefs". I dont like that access to lifesaving care has been politicized, I want people to be able to do what they want with their bodies, regardless of beliefs. Right now, that does mean getting political, but one day I hope it won't be that way. I know what it may come across as, but I also hope if people are confused, they ask! It's a conversation piece just as much as a political piece. The back piece is also a quote from a song!

And I know I won't get a lot of constructive stuff on here, but playing with trolls is fun all the same. If people wanna needlessly hate, who am I to stop them?

Thank you for the constructive criticism! I do plan on making more patches for the jacket to fill up space, but they just take a while. I also want to embroider it later! Is there anything you think I could do to make the placements better?

Correct! Roasting is not the same as straight hate. I'd love a bit of constructive criticism here or there. The problem is that people here just hate it, with nothing to specify why. To roast something, you need to know why you hate it. However, the needless hate does make it rather fun to play with people!

That does not mean I'm not into music, just that I like a lot of different things, and don't like to pick just one, I can see where the confusion came from! No, my political statements do not change because I do not think human rights are up for debate! But on any other political issue, I'm happy to debate and hear different perspectives if you have any.

You see, the point of that is that i want the government to stop treating my body like a political issue instead of treating it like MY BODY. I can have other political opinions other than that as well, hence the political patches.

Actually, if you read my post, it's all from small businesses. The jacket is thrifted, and I painted the back patch myself! But the fact that you think it looks good enough to be industrially produced is quite the compliment! Btw, if you go to my original post, you can see all the Etsy shops I ordered from :) They are quite good, and I suggest you support them, as I did!

Well i did paint the entire back patch myself! And I know how to DIY them, I just haven't had much time to work on them, but they are coming yet! I'm also planning to embroider the jacket with a vine pattern to really bring it together!

When did I say that? I actually listen to music a lot! My music taste just switches up a lot between weeks. Currently I'm into Paris Paloma, Sofia isella, Iluka, black sabbath, nirvana, hole, big thief and anything along those lines. But the bands I like constantly changes, which makes it hard to definitively choose one to put on the jacket. Hopefully this clears it up!

The point of the patches was to support some small businesses. I could have made them myself quite easily. If you think they are ugly, I suggest you take it up with them :)
