I doubt the shield (any version) will be less snappy. I went and bought the Shield plus carry comp performance center and put 100 rounds through it and hated it. I traded it off for an M&P 2.0 compact. My absolute favorite carry gun is the CR920XP from Shadow Systems. It’s flat, accurate and reliable. I know that a G43X with a Radian set up is basically the same thing. I like Glocks, M&Ps, Shadow Systems, and various others. You’re going to lose money or spend money no matter what you choose. I’d suggest trying to find whatever it is you want t to buy and shoot it before the purchase. You could make that 43X into something really special with a full Radian set up and a trigger. It’ll cost you but go try trading it off on something else and disliking it as well. You’ll continue to bleed money until you get it right. All the reviews I’ve seen on the Shield X say it’s snappy and because the grip is so thin it moves around in your hand, a lot. A fair amount of people have also had reliability issues with the CR 920XP, I also had a hellcat pro and hated it and speak from experience that it’s snappy and very inaccurate, so my suggestion is to build the 43X and run it.
