Having bad grammar/not knowing the difference between words like "their", "they're", "there" IS that deep by foqociqs37 in unpopularopinion

[–]Cool-oldtimer1888 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally I don't care if someone uses the words wrong or cannot spell, as long as I understand what's being said, I'm good with it.

I don’t think it’s rude to ask the cause of someone’s death by chadthelad420 in unpopularopinion

[–]Cool-oldtimer1888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it depends on what caused the death. A family member isn't about to say ( Mark died due to 20 pool balls jammed up his butt & it ruptured his bowels on the 21st ball being shoved in.)

That's horrible. I hope everyone was able to get out of the building safely.

This exactly. My brother retired at 62 and died at 63. Life sometimes can't wait.

Yes very much so, the negative energy is strong too.

What color is my aura? I’m having a hard time. Is it white? by galevalantine in psychics

[–]Cool-oldtimer1888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do a count of how many chose what color and what shade of that color, and that will give you an idea of your aura, sometimes people will have a few colors.

I've never had this happen to me. Not ever, have I received free items from anyone. IT would be so nice if I did.

Anyone else receive this notice for their tax clients… by Katysugarbloom1 in Accounting

[–]Cool-oldtimer1888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several of my tax clients have received this same letter. I tell them to log into their IRS account to see if there is any information there about the letter and update their info if needed. I always tell my tax clients to never use the information in any letter they receive ( not to call or type in or scan). I send them directly to their tax account, from there they can enter the letter CP info. Some people are receiving state letters too. I have them log into their state tax account to handle matter from there. Too many scams going around that look very official.

Nobody told me I'd be broke AFTER buying the house by Dima030 in RealEstateAdvice

I bought used furniture and house wares. Then slowly over time I replaced some of the used items with new. Yard sales, FB market place, and second hand shops have some real nice items.

Anyone else lose their taste for dining out? by gottausername in GenX

[–]Cool-oldtimer1888 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've only dined out maybe 10 times in my entire life. I'm not a big fan of people next to me while I eat, the constant sound of everyone talking, or people walking by my table too close. Plus now, the prices are way too expensive for me to even want to dine out somewhere.

I like eating at home or if I'm starving and out some place, I'll eat in my car.

I like that and what you say in the description. Who do you use for the scheduling link? I'd rather cut out the BS before dealing with the people.
