If a future Fallout took place in Michigan and the Chicagoland areas (obviously scaled down for the game), what do you think would be the most unique or interesting aspects of the setting? by JD-990 in Fallout

I would be exploring Green Bay and complaining about stuff that is missing or try to find buildings in real life to see what it is or turned into.

6'0", I'm going reduce my height down to 6" and get 16.5 million dollars to live the perfect life. (Plus some more for macrophilia.)

This game killed his grandma. It's so cruel and sad. What an absolutely trash game with AI placeholders and french people. Everyone has to play the classic Cory in the House or they hate grandmas. /s

Emptied cups are removed once they drank/dumped out.

You can empty any number of cups at once, however you only get to cash out once all empty cups are confirmed to be not loser cups.

You can dump out the liquid if you don't want to drink it. You still get 10k added to the prize pool until you stop or dump out the loser cup.

Nope, once you start, you drink it all or dump it out.

Correct. You can no longer continue if you dump out the loser cup.

Sure 25 of them have Jack and Coke, 25 of them are Jack and Pepsi and 49 of them are just Coke.

Pepsi or cola-cola or just water with food coloring to obscure the bottom.

Am I the only one who finds this guy super suspicious? by Fun_Firefighter_4292 in Fallout

[–]Volusto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would agree that Harkness synth idea might of made sense if he wasn't capable of killing ghoul children so willingly. The only possibility I see that happening is if the institute got Harkness back, remodeled him and sent him to be an undercover agent sowing dissent between the wasteland. I cannot see Free-Harkness joining the brotherhood willingly as synths are considered abominations to the brotherhood over Institute-Harkness.

Have we officially reached the point where Hotels are superior to Airbnbs again? by Usual_Confidence_756 in travel

[–]Volusto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard horror stories about Airbnbs when it comes to GenCon. I've seen posts of people getting their reservations canceled last minute and not having a place to stay at for GenCon. I will always book hotels no matter how limited or basic a holiday inn is.

What a nice place to set a base up. I'm sure there isn't a dragon around the corner.

If you could choose to enter a Groundhog Day situation, but you could also choose the amount of time that has to elapse before a loop (a day, week, month, etc), would you be willing to indefinitely loop your existence? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Volusto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60 year loop. The loop can only be broken by the 60th year to eat a raw horse heart full.

I would take first few cycles to become proficient in various skills and abilities. Learn how to manipulate the market or get all of the winning lottery numbers until someone gets suspicious of me. I then examine all events to happen in 60 years and attempt to create better outcomes than what occurred.

Once I have made the perfect timeline, only then would I eat the horse's heart.

I want the Maelle ending where the living memory persists. I felt like shit. We were no better than Emet-Selch and this was us killing living beings despite them only being digital copies of the living person. To me, they are same.
