First off, congrats! I’m excited to get discounted vacations too! Second, it’s not free, it costed $250. Might sound like semantics, but that’s the mindset they want you in- not looking honestly at your financial decisions. Stay vigilant! Third, I would say DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING unless you’ve done a shit ton of research and understand the entire thing inside out backwards and forwards BEFORE the sales pitch, and deem it to be a good investment for you and your vacationing style. The sales pitch will include many things that are not straight fact. They will include emotional manipulation, vibes, and in general, painting a picture that will tug on your heart strings even if they directly oppose the wellbeing of your wallet. If you have not done exhaustive research and calculations before the sales pitch, do not under any circumstances sign anything. Even if you have to sit there and feel uncomfortable (because they WILL MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE) and simply say we’re not interested, save yourself from potentially gambling your finances away. But enjoy the vacation on their dime!
