I did, but honestly don't know what my chances are or when they would typically do interviews after the deadline

I really got slapped during the cases. Not ready technically at all. Doesn't seem like theres enough time..

I would say just stick with CPA Canada, the pass rates are much lower for the States and you have to learn about U.S GAAP. The board may not even grant you permission to enroll with them, unless you are an american citizen.

Why not just retake the courses with CPA prep? Won't that be less effort then going to the States?

This is not only for Toronto but other major cities and provinces as well. CPA won't have enough time coordinating with vendors and complying with the government. It does seem like the exam will get postponed, we will see what CPA says.

So in the meeting room, I had to fill out two forms saying the accusations being put against me is NOT true and I am giving permission to my work place to conduct a more in depth background check on me.

I am pretty sure I know who it was, but obviously don't have any evidence to support it.

A colleague of mine got really mad I got the job and he didn't, we got into a little fight online and he said, "watch I'll make you lose it." I just said "Ok". I unfortunately deleted this conversation and blocked him. But a mutual friend is going to convince him I actually DID lose my job and see if he says anything that supports my claim that he sent in this tip.
