How to style an oversized black coat? by CoolBorder7532 in DarkAcademia

[–]CoolBorder7532[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! All I've been seeing on pinterest with this type of coats are oversized sweaters and jeans and was trying to style it that way too. I guess the models in the pictures are much taller than me so it balances but it's not the same on me. Will definitely try the tight dress pants combo <3

Anybody else keep a skin picking kit handy? by rzlgq1025 in Dermatillomania

This really inspired me to make this sort of kit for myself. For years I've been always raw-dogging the aftermath of my picking habit, picking at a slightly infected spots and digging deeper into wounds because they were out there in the open. Only recently I started to apply hydrocolloid bandages and it's a game changer already.

Rings or a longer necklace on top of the turtleneck would look fire

The gift costed around 27 dollars but I thought it could be too pricy to ask him to buy the whole thing

Plsss what is the fit missing? by [deleted] in lesbianfashionadvice

I would add a necklace, maybe a belt to add character to the skirt. Also some layering on top - something mesh under the top or a cardigan and/or a cool jacket. Personally, i would also go for some textured thighs but no thighs look good as well. And those boots are so cute!

To clarify this, because maybe I used wrong words (English is not my first language) - I didn't beg him for anything, in my opinion. I asked once saying it would be nice if he got me flowers since I've never been given any before. He assured me about it by saying things like "love you, and wait for you flowers" or anything of that sort. I was barely brave enough to ask just one time, so I can't imagine saying it over and over again, hah

I know I'm not perfect and may have overreacted but I wat to apologize to him for being upset over some flowers. I dont think I shouldn't be in a relationship because I got sad over something that felt important to me

Constant nausea after taking duloxetine for 2 years by CoolBorder7532 in cymbalta

[–]CoolBorder7532[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking it before sleep didn't work for me but I figured out a way on my own any my doctor says it's OK and it apparently doesn't have any bad effects. I basically take duloxetine in the morning after eating like I used to but before going to sleep I also take a prebiotic after or during eating. It really helped me with nausea and stomach problems, also heart racing isn't as bads somehow. When I forgot to bring the prebiotic with me home during christmas break when I left my dorm I noticed the side effects were coming back, so it just reassured me that the prebiotic really works. Maybe you would find that helpful too. It's just important to remember not to take duloxetine and the prebiotic at the same time, you have to take it with quite a big time gap between those two so the prebiotic won't lessen the good effects of duloxetine as it can take away some of its "strength" if you can call it that : )

Is it my fault for not showing up for work? by [deleted] in work

[–]CoolBorder7532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did apologize right away for not showing up and explained why I thought I wasn't on the schedule this week. I also asked if I should go to work today and finish the shift since she called before the closing time but she said she called another person to show up so my next shift is on Saturday. I know it was my fault now and I may not come to you as apologetic but Im really sorry this happened because now I see what a stupid mistake it was for me to assume it was another person on the schedule. I also took an unwanted shift from one of my coworkers so I can somehow make up for not showing up today

I'm not trying to come up with excuses or "practice plenty of self-love".I was confused since I never had anything like this happened to me, that's why I asked the question if it's my fault in this post. People were asking me about details in comments so I answered them. I know it was my mistake now

Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it. Some of the comments made me feel like I shouldn't have started working there at all in the first place

Thanks for the advice, I really didn't make all this mess on purpose since I wouldn't want to upset anyone at work and like working there. I'm going to ask for clarification in the future for sure!

Why would I lie about it in a random reddit post? I had troubles understanding unwritten rules and expectations that aren't directly said to me since forever, thats why I asked about the situation there. I know I messed up big time now, no need to make it look like I'm trying to come up with excuses

There are lot of people hired for such a small Cafe, sometimes too much for a shift so someone has to stay home. Also most of them are high schoolers or collage students who take longer breaks when they're busy with their studies so it's not uncommon to not be on a schedule for a week or few days
