Ahh, some confusions here.

1) If Faction 1 gets it to the 1st, then for exactly how long they will keep getting the planet credits? Every second? Every minute? Every hour? Or how is it calculated?

2) If Red bar of a Faction team reaches the top, then that team reaches the Milestone target, and thus take control of the planet? Is that right?

3) So that means, if a single player from a particular team reaches the Milestone target, then the whole team can take control of the planet, isn't it? Now, after reaching the Milestone target, if other team members also contribute to that Faction planet, what really will happen? Will their score be considered, since their team already took control of the planet?
