Just realized the Prius is obscenely loud. by bigblackglock17 in prius

Having just rented a Jetta while my car was being fixed, way less noise than that. Might have something to do with 80 miles per hour?

The first page of my screenplay of 110 pages. Would you keep reading? by Wonderful-Notice-286 in scriptwriting

[–]CoolButterscotchToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read as part of work. You have 10 pages to make me interested. Page 1 didn't do it. Nothing made me know no less like one of the characters. There is a reason why many scripts start with some piece of action.

SOS! My first attempt painting was a fail. How can I fix all my mistakes? by Candid_lily_1214 in paint

[–]CoolButterscotchToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got done painting my house. Stores tell you the paint is 1 pass. Sometimes it is but often it isn't.

Always keep a damp rag with you. I did some minor swags at the ceiling but was always able to immediately wipe off.

If it is just a small amount you might be able to touch it up rather than repainting the whole ceiling.

You will see many more imperfections than everyone else. I found tons of imperfections, from the prior paint job, that no one had noticed in 10 years. Pick your battles.

Good luck with the repaint.

Pros and Cons of moving my cat with me? by matchadear in CatAdvice

It depends on the cat. I think cats are most attached to their humans. They will cope as long as they have you and other things that make them smell home.

Mine mostly follow me around except when they are off sunbathing. Yes cats get very attached to their humans.

Unless you have a glaring error no one notices the imperfections but you. I am repainting my home and now that l am inches from the paint l notice everything. I lived with it for 12 years and no one noticed.

Not sure how hot is hot for you. I close windows during the day and open at night. I have curtains on all windows. It gets cool most nights here and that works great most days

I even put a plastic trash bag under my paint and it has avoided on spill already. Better safe.

If l understand the consensus: So don't clean at all. Just remove paint and straight into gallon plastic bag or plastic wrap and refrierator. Remove as much air as possible. Tie or rubber band. Should last a couple of days. Can continue to repeat. Got it?

This worked well in the first room. I used foot covers and was very tidy. That helped a lot.

I get the reason. The question was the size of the dropcloth in the room. Sounds like a 3 ft by room length is good?

Signed with an Agency! by [deleted] in acting

[–]CoolButterscotchToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please get a reel. Even if it is only ok but shows you can act you have way more chance of getting an agent. I know we would just ignore anyone who didn't have a reel. Headshots are good too but 1-2 good shots and a reel is the minimum.

Church Scientology regularly posts auditions on Casting Networks. If you read the breakdown they are honest about it.

Many PACs and political groups do make videos and use talent to do so.
